I bought

dreamersdestiny

dreamersdestiny and myself some stupid looking olympic hats. A great deal at only $28 plus taxes each! :S

.. I might be bitter about the price of olympic swag around my hometown of Vancouver, but the olympics are really starting to grow on me. I'm totally catching the spirit! And now I have the hat to prove it!

.. Actually, I kinda like the hat :)

Yup, 100% official, bought at the Hudsons Bay Company ("the Bay" for us who live here). I'm impressed with them myself :)

Neat!! I LOVE the green color and especially the cat ears! It's tempting to get one... xD But $28 is a steep price. Oh well!

You know I was the same way, wasnt digging the Olympics then went down and the spirit and all kinda grows on you. Although I want a Quatchi toque!

I saw the Quatchi ones, but I liked the Sumi one the best. The Miga touque has the dorsal fin facing the wrong way and has Miga's actual face on it.. it just looks lame. This is an actual replica of what Sumi wears, so it's kinda unique in that regard. I dunno.

It's still really stupid to spend $28 on. :P

Im not a fan of Miga I mean he looks weird although truth be told I havn't a clue what Sumi is supposed to be!

I was pertty skeptical and against the whole thing myself at first, but the entire event is starting to grow on me as well. In fact just today, Rino and I checked it out and got some free swag. :3

You can get them for free at the Apple Store in Pacific Place. There's another Apple Store somewhere that gets you a different one, but I forgot where.

I caught it! Now I have so many mascot plushies/keychains and such. Loved the arts of the event and the colors!!!
I was pretty proud to be in the city at the time too.

Oh ya, me too! My ex wasn't as into going out, but I went out to the olympics whenever I could just to 'feel the vibe' of the crowd and the games. SO awesome! Like nothing I'll ever seen in my life again, I'm sure.

Hehe.. me too! I was at the Richmond oval celebration site watching it on the giant outdoor screen.. it was pretty awesome when we won :)

Hehe, the hats suit. my brother sent me some winter olympics things for my b-day earlier this year (he immigrated to Vancouver, if you ever meet an english Physiotherapist in hospital, tell him Michael says hello xD)
