Who the hell is Claudia? Ultramarine successor chapter from a game of death watch my friend runs.
'But they're a girl' It's an AU being run to be open for some of the players who aren't comfortable playing a male.
The backstory behind it?
' While female primarchs and space marines are probably the most noticeable change, the primary change in the timeline is largely unrelated. In this timeline, Magnus the Red, now Magna, instead of sabotaging Prospero's defenses and waiting for them and their legion to die, met Constantin Valdor and Leman Rus halfway. While Rus still wanted to kill them, Valdor had his Custodes and was under orders to take her in alive, and would follow the Emperor's direct orders over Horus' and Leman's interpretation. Because Leman and the Space Wolves were not worked up into a frenzy, and because there was no evidence of sorcery or rampant mutation like in the original battle of Prospero, the Custodians and Valdor stopped Rus and the Space Wolves, and Magna was returned to Terra alive. Because of her presence on Terra, the Emperor is able to devout more time to things beyond the Golden Throne, as Magna is powerful enough to use it as well and survive. After the siege of Terra, which ends in the Emperor's fatal wounding and Sangiunea's near death, Magna and the Emperor spent essentially all their time working to keep the webway gate sealed, guide the astronomicon, handle the astropaths, try to undo Horus' wound, and gradually fix Magna's folly. This means that their direct intervention is unheard of, and orders are almost always given through Malcador or the Emissaries Imperatus.
Because the Thousand Daughters were loyalists, the Flesh Change returned with a vengeance. Ahriman (rename pending) still commenced work on her Rubrik, without much assistance from her primarch, she was still doomed to fail. Fortunately, however, the issue was significant enough to gain intervention from the Big Three, Malcador, the Emperor and Magna. With the incredible knowledge and psychic power of Malcador the Sigilite assisting, Ahriman is able to perfect her Rubrik. While she could not undo the Flesh Change, she prevented it from appearing in new marines, for the most part. As a side effect, some marines eventually succumb to a side effect of the Rubrik, losing their minds and turning to dust trapped inside their armour. Without the control of a Psyker sister, these Rubriks become mindless berserkers, kept in specialized psychically designed Citadels between battle, the Rubriks are deployed to seek a merciful end to their suffering.
The current millennium is not the first time the Imperium has flirted with disaster.indeed, the most dangerous time since the Horus Heresy was an event that became known as the War of the Beast. During this time, the Orks achieved organization and power not seen since the Great Crusade, and indeed possibly exceeded it. To deal with this new threat, the chapter master of the Imperial Fists, Slaughter Koorland, invoked the Last Wall Protocol. In so doing, all chapters of Imperial Fist Successors were reformed into the Imperial Fists Legion, an action that was blatantly illegal, but would ultimately save the Imperium from this threat. Instead of punishing the chapters of the Imperial Fists, the Regent of Terra, Malcador the Sigilite, gave retroactive assent to the protocol, and instituted similiar for all legions, as well as modifying the protocol. Now, the chapter master of the original chapter, but not its primarch, could invoke the Last Wall protocol, reforming its orignal legion, however the Regent of Terra had the authority to cancel the protocol, and should he do so it cannot be invoked again without his assent. The Last Wall Protocol would temporarily reform the legion, splitting off again into the participating successor chapters later. Since the War of the Beast, the Last Wall Protocol has not been re-enacted, and has only been seriously considered once, during the Tyranid invasion of Ultramar.
While the Emperor of Mankind was never able to overcome the gender keying of the zygotes, subsequent developments have found a way to sidestep the issue, so to speak. By their very nature, the zygotes are keyed to specific traits for a compatible host, and one of these traits is, without exception, related to the biological sex of the individual. After the Legions were broken up into chapters, new avenues of research were also opened up, most notably, the development of Chimeric Geneseed. Chimric Geneseed can b used to help counteract the faults of pre-existing chapters, and was originally used in experiments on stabilizing the Space Wolf Geneseed, leaving the Space Wolves as the only chimeric First Founding chapter. A side effect of the chimeric nature of Space Wolf geneseed was an alteration to how it coded for traits, being able to take male or female Fenrisians, although failing on non-Fenrisian females. From this discovery, the Biologis branch of the Adeptus Mechanicus developed the male/female switch down to a science, and from there other single-trait switches. While chimeric geneseed remains somewhat unstable and prone to mutation, small changes are the norm for many successor chapters. In a few cases, the sex of the marine is no longer of critical importance as long as other conditions are meant, such as the Space Wolves requiring Fenrisian citizens. '

Warhammer is such an odd setting. It takes itself so seriously, it goes so far off the deep end with grimdark, but then you got the DREADED SAGGITARI who are weird not-quite-human humans with bows, talking swords and exoskeleton that turn them into centaurs. And communicate through tubas.
I've been thoroughly enjoying Horus Heresy.
I've been thoroughly enjoying Horus Heresy.
So looking it up the only thing that comes up is a Custodian called Saggiratus, and centaur vehical which is just a Imperial Guard vehicle.
The only thing I can think of relevant would be the Zoats that have been dead for editions?
Or the weaponary of the Interex who understand and warned against chaos but who destroyed by Horus.
I'll admit, the only 40k I've read is Gaunt's ghosts and a number of tau books.

They would be the third ones you've listed. I dive into horus Heresy for a friend as a trade go get him to read The Expanse. He ended up loving the Expanse, finishing it, and now that I've finished the series myself, and metro 2033 (What a fucking slog of a book...) I'm diving back into horus books. It's so straight faced goofy, I'm loving it
I too love Robooty gullible!...?
