"Weakness, my dear Graham, is not something the earth dragons can tolerate possessing." Ollimar explained with a bit of a sigh as he lowered his head down to the little human, that eager eyed male garbed in dark brown robes.
"It's of the utmost importance you understand this. Weakness, to you and I, holds different meaning than it does to Cain and Kaira. While it's true they are sturdy and powerful, their idea of weakness expands to their relationships as well." the green dragon elaborated, giving a soft chuckle at his use of the word 'relationship' in relation to the two ancient, violent behemoths.
"Cain, willfully or not, will attempt to destroy everything he touches. Anything that could ever have the remote possibility of harming him, he will snuff out before it gets close enough to get the chance. That includes you and I, Graham." Ollimar said solemnly, though in a soothing tone. The human couldn't help but give an incredulous snort, prepared to ask what a human could ever hope to do to harm a dragon, much less a behemoth like Cain. Ollimar only arched his brow down at the human, urging him to think harder about his words, and after a moment, Graham seemed to understand. The man's own brow would furrow a bit as he remained quiet in his contemplation of the green dragon's advice.
"Be mindful, little one. The closer you attempt get, the more you risk forfeiting everything. Trust me. I should know." Ollimar said, pain echoing in his voice as he lifted his muzzle up and away from the little hominid, staring down at him from above. He knew Graham understood. Just as he knew the human wouldn't heed his advice.

This was one I enjoyed simply for the candid expression on the old brown. It always looked, to me, like the younger brute taking a moment to open up to someone as a peer, something that rarely would have happened. Love the colors on the background too!
