Toutec is a benevolent forest spirit, for the most part. He likes to spend his time meditating, sleeping, and meditating in his sleep. Humans who dare live in his midst often consider him a blessing -- not just because 70-foot-tall raptors are quite good at keeping jaguars away, but too, their natural propensity towards fair and impartial justice helps maintain a law-abiding community.
