Although the real question we should be asking is; when did they break up?
Boyfriend stops coming around all of a sudden? That'd cause worry.
Ex stops coming around or vanishes completely? Not as worrying, as some people are mean and just block exes completely.
Then again, with candy and vegetables flying out of her hair, as well as the supplied water from the sprinklers we've previously learnt about, he might've managed to survive for quite a while.
Still, can't help wondering just how long he's been in there..

I take some heart in the fact that Carlos is still indeed recognizable as Carlos, but given the fact that Rosa has never been shown in a relationship in the comic, I think he's been in there for a hot minute.
