Ezmer and Aemawl have been together for nearly two years. Ezmer had wanted to get married but he was uncertain of how they would manage being so poor; him a blacksmith and her an engineer. He wanted to fill Aemawl's life with anything and everything she wanted.
They were out walking in the middle of winter. Aemawl loved the winter season and the snow and the chill in the air.
They were on their way to a party with some friends when Aemawl grabbed Ezmer's arm. She pulled him in close and kissed him. She knew exactly what she wanted. Ezmer was her everything. She pulled out a small box with a small ring she made herself. She was ready and hoped Ezmer would be too.
"Will you marry me?" she asked.
Ezmer's eyes filled with tears and a smile gradually spread across his face. "Yes, yes I will."

They kissed again. Ezmer swept Aemawl off her feet and lovingly held her in his arms. They nuzzled together as the snow lightly fell around them.
