Spared from the refuse amongst the ashes and wood lay the remnants of this photo. I suppose that whoever received this photo from Harp as a romantic keepsake hadn't the same feelings towards him... because she BURNED IT. O_o

I happen to like the idea of the "she loves me, she loves me not" pedal-plucking superstition. I first saw it in "The Three Ages," with Buster Keaton. Buster stood outside the girls house, defeated by her other suiter (Wallace Beery), and asked a daisy if she truly loved himself the most. His thumb pressed on a real bee when plucking the last pedal, resulting in a bee sting. It was the usual extra kick in the butt that made a sad moment laughable. :P I just thought the moment was sweet, so without a reference, I tried to copy the expression he had.
Of course, I cant make a movie reference without showing you a clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvVE.....eature=related
