"You ready to give up, or are you thirsty for more?"
My roommate and I once brainstormed a sequel about an older and jaded Kevin McCallister who's estranged from his family over deep-seated inadequacy and abandonment issues, who meets a homeless Harry after he finally got out of prison, and Kevin in an act of mercy invites him over to his lonely apartment, and the two end up bonding over their experiences and we learn that Harry hasn't seen Marv since Marv got stabbed in prison and was rushed to a hospital, and anyway the two have to defend the apartment complex from a gang trying to rob the place blind and it turns into a wacky Home Alone adventure with the former kid and bandit working together to protect their home, and Marv shows up at the end having survived his attack and all three of them save the day, and at the end on Christmas morning the two former wet bandits convince Kevin to call his mom and try and make it up with his family, because he won't have them forever, and the movie ends with her voice on the phone and Kevin saying, "Merry Christmas, mom."
Yeah, we're weird. There was gonna be a redo of the paint can scene where Harry tries to smack someone with the can and misses, and when Kevin does it he gets the angle and timing right. XD

Home Alone 3 involved a different kid, and some criminals trying to steal a military chip or something, and he's "alone" because he has chicken pox and his family is all off doing stuff. And then Home Alone 4 I think actually had Kevin and his family, but like a different actor and the parents were divorced and half the kids were just not mentioned… no one talks about it.
