While this was the first one of the set I drew, I still find myself thinking that there is so much I have to learn and work on before I can reach the level of the manga cover I included. This included coloring, shading and lineart techniques, and that is not mentioning the natural way many professionals can draw poses and expressions.

"Hey there!" Sam smiled to the family coming up to her booth in the crowded con. "Come to take a look at the latest issue of this beloved story? Isuna Hasekura has held off on putting this story out there for now until he was happy with the tone of the story!"

The family spread out as they reached the booth, with the mother holding onto a child as the child tried to reach out for the swinging tail. "Careful now Jamie! You don't know where that cat's tail has been!"

Sam paused upon hearing that, feeling somewhere between annoyed and deflated about hearing that. As if all the work taken to ensure that this form was as close to correct to the story was simply wasted. But a quick head shake and she was back in the game promoting the latest issue once more! "Yes, this issue has some really exciting things happen which leave many changes on the story everyone has loved so much! Why take..."

The father waved a copy of the book before Sam. " Hey, sorry there. But just wondering. Do you know how close this is meant to be to the anime? I heard that they might be making changes to things and don't want to waste my time investing in things that aren't sticking too close to the source work."

Sam paused and had to think for a second after hearing the question while trying to think up something that might keep the guy interested. "Oh, I know there was some changes between the two, but I know they made sure the spirit of things was kept true between both versions! Saying that, I do not know if the anime is making any changes to what the book is doing. I hope not too much, since...well." Sam waved her right hand over her body. "As you can see, us cosplayers try to make sure things remain true to the story!"

The guy looked to be thinking about what Sam had to say. "Sure, I guess...thanks then. I'll buy one from the guy and say he did a great job making sure to have someone foxy like you here."

As the guy walked off happy with his family, Sam could only watch while thinking if it was worth the fun and thrill of trying out forms when facing things like this sometimes.
