I noticed I haven't made any new characters in forever, and I thought about my zoology project from a while back, so I decided to create a totally unique character to my other OCs: a mantis shrimp character. X3
I love those little crustacean bois~


Also some amazing facts if anyone's interested:
Bruiser's kind is listed as "not threatened" because they're extremely dangerous.
The secret to Bruiser's success? Most of the time he has little clubs folded up in his exoskeleton,
and they can pack one heck of a wallop when he uses them. In fact, he has the strongest known punch in the entire animal kingdom, hence the text on the front of his diaper~
When he punches, he unleashes a flurry of vaporized water, extreme heat, and a flash of light- all rolled up in a single blow!
This even allows him to break through very thick aquarium glass and defend himself, and he's known as a "thumb-splitter" because of what he can do to you if you don't handle him properly.
He also has some of the best vision, capable of seeing ten times more color than humans, thanks to the 16 color-receptive cone cells and millions of photoreceptors in both his eyes!
He can punch at the speed of a 22. caliper bullet, and he's very territorial and aggressive, so don't make him lose his temper or you'll regret it. Finally, he's specifically known as a peacock mantis shrimp, making him one of the larger and more colorful species of shrimp.
