Few would call any part of Alola 'bustling'. Yes, some of the more modern portions of the islands made a token effort to appear as busy as you'd expect of a city, but a general slowness and -- for lack of a better term -- laziness pervaded the region. It was one of the main draws of Alola, especially on the more rural island. As such, while Caspian did find himself in an open air market, and there were other Pokefurs around, it could hardly be said to be 'bustling' with activity.
As such, the sounds of heavy impacts reached their ears much more quickly than would be expected.
Caspian had just enough time to realize what was about to happen, before letting out a sharp bleat of surprise as he was snatched up roughly. He found himself face to face with a towering rock wolf's snout, sharp teeth bared as her claws held him aloft by the back of his shirt. There was a low rumbling in the air that wasn't quite a growl, but it was definitely coming from the Lycanroc in front of him.
“There you are,” Kamali’i growled, her size shooting up rapidly in frustration. “Been looking for you for an hour now. We’re going on a date, starting now.”
The Gogoat gulped, but nodded with a smile. “Okay.” He wasn't going to deny a night out to his girlfriend, after all.

Kamali'i isn't really good at being romantic, even when she wants to be; add in her stress issues, and scenes like this tend to be how many of her dates with Caspian start. She's getting better, and will probably calm down now that she's found him, but Caspian is in for a wild night.
