Doooop! I just thought of something. Look up whatever voc ed collage is closest to you. Give them a call. They usually will do repairs while teaching the students. Its a way to get the ac fixed for free or near free.

Just like how some medical colleges and universities run their own hospitals, helps them make extra coin by serving people, and provides valuable training for students/trainees.

I am lucky in my own cholesterol.

I am "low-normal", and my doctor is weirded out by that.
(He calls me "Iron Man" for how completely I recovered from the heart failure.)

But I actually eat a relatively low fat diet by preference, and I have slimmed quite a bit.
I don't weight a pound less...But its all denser and at least a little better shaped.

Hopefully, you are aging gracefully into old phart territory, like me.

I find myself technically employed, just not deployed. My Danish overlords keep dangling juicy tidbits and snatching them away. Fun, I guess, but it doesn't pay the bills. At least they paid me of the week of intensive training.
