Melee denizens are the fastest and most physically adept Denizens on the planet. They can summon weapons at will can can usually land fatal blows on foes (like Veterans and most Monstro) very quickly. They usually have large tails as well they use for crowd control in case they're being ganged up on, but the cost for this invovles them having moderately low tension so they tire out easliy, making them exploitable to Wave-Heroes and Homing Monstro. The main way they can regain energy is through killing they're enemies and consuming they're nutrients, akin to a hack and slash game.
