This is just a sketch of a character I have been working on for a few years. He was an original concept drawn for a contest for a local radio station WLRS - The Walrus. The winner would become the station's art designer. I drew him looking like a DJ with hands on some equipment, sunglasses and a backwards hat. I didn't win though :( Some guy drew him looking like a pimp (how a pimp has anything to do with a rock station is beyond me) and he won. Sadly, I didn't save a copy of my submission. I may try to recreate it at some later point.

Rambling aside, he's evolved into a core character in one of my stories (The Furnace) as a bouncer for the night club. His name is Wendell.
