On the twenty-third day of Giftmas, Nattie gave to Cody~

Now we arrive at my lovely friend Cody, who is one of my longer lasting friends. They also are one of my biggest inspirations artistically for years now. Unsure if they will remember but they were the one who taught me a fair bit of how to do shading and for years since then I have generally been following their advice they gave to me artistically. Of course, I am nowhere near as skilled as they are, seeing how amazing their art is. They have greatly improved over the years, their work was already amazing and it's only gotten better with time! They have a lot of ambition and put a lot of energy into their work which I really enjoy, they can make quite some stunning works! Cody is also one of the sweetest people I have ever gotten to know, they always speak so gently and calmly (least how it comes off to me) and are a pleasant joy to talk to in general! They are a very wise friend and have helped me directly or indirectly with the advice they have given, they and others helping me during my developmental years when certain others wouldn't, thus aiding in my development as a person during that very crucial point in life. Even your company alone still helped a lot and meant a lot to me.
We have been getting more in contact for a while now, though chatting is sparse as ever, any time we do communicate does mean a lot to me~ I am glad for the times we have had together and I also enjoy what we do now. Though the days of chatting on certain places and drawing in sketchers may be long over, our friendship has adapted to take on more forms. I do always enjoy getting to do things with them, even if most times are just simply talking nowadays, it is still a experience to cherish and appreciate. Their friendship and support have meant a lot to me over the years, helping me discover things even about myself even if they might not have directly known it. They have been more than just an artistic inspiration of mine, but a inspiration of how I could live my life as well. They are a highly interesting character and one I am glad to be able to call a friend ^^ They are an inspiration of mine and I am glad that we were able to form a friendship since then. It's been a mighty long road indeed but it's been quite worth it to see the friendship we were able to form in the end. I wish you well my friend, I hope you have a lovely year and new year! I do hope you enjoy this very special piece, it was a joy to create and glad to be able to do it at all, really took me away to a whole other place while making it, it is hard to explain.
