Born as a Western/Water Dragon-hybrid, Aurora was the youngest of two sons of Yuki and Cynthia, the former being the alleged son of Aharapuar, the former dragon king of Belka. While not always perfect, he was always been known as a free-spirited, fun-loving, and very supportive dragon, with a strong will to boot.
He was trained to be a fighter from as soon as Yuki thought he was ready, although Cynthia was somewhat hesitant to let him go - so a pretty young age basically. As Yuki’s training methods were often harsh, it left Aurora at odds with him. When later Yuki took over leadership of the central state, Aurora and his brother Detlef were effectively made heirs, however he was not part Yuki’s war council, which often furthered the division between the two.
As Detlef suffered from depression, neither brothers were ever that close in the beginning, especially since Yuki (due to his own lack of understanding his elder son’s condition) was hard on him, and such Cynthia (who did understand) would have to protect him. In time however Aurora would come to understand Detlef’s plight, and would support him as best he could.

Outside his family, Aurora had equally close ties with his friends. Notably Princess Vale, Queen Iris’s daughter and heir to the throne. Although assigned as ambassador to the central state, Vale had no interest in her royal duties, a sentiment shared by Aurora. Both became friends quickly and eventually lovers, with Vale often neglecting her own responsibilities so to be with him at all times as both cared for each other very deeply. The two would also have four children - Borealis, Gloria, Caspian, and Ace.
Then there was Jamie, Aurora’s best friend. To the point they practically became brothers especially after Detlef defected to a cult led by a dragon named Dichin. Although he’d occasionally have to reel him in every now and again, he always backs up Aurora on whatever decision he makes (so long it’s logical). Like Vale, Jamie would always fight alongside Aurora, always having his back, because he knows Aurora will always do the same for him.
Apart from them, Aurora was also close to Bernard, Crux and his adopted daughter Sienna. Ashley and his girlfriend Celestine. Oxblood, Fleur, and many more besides.

Despite the somewhat harsh reality of his training, it moulded Aurora into a skilled fighter, particularly in the air. It certainly helped he had some good teachers, as he was taught by Yuki and his friend Bernard, a veteran of the war. He was also tutored by none other then Dichin himself, and contributed the most to Aurora’s training as he taught him most of the combat manoeuvres he would later utilise. And there was also Jamie himself, who in years past was a revered hero for his exploits in the neighbouring Ukazan continent.

Additionally Aurora was blessed with strong firepower from birth. His main attack is a blue fireball. While he can focus the blue fire into a jet of flames like most dragons, he mainly prefers the fireball variety, as it’ll often detonate upon contact with anything it touches with great force.

Also Aurora has possession of a demon form, a product of a magic curse conjured up by the witch Bavmorda. While fortunately he doesn’t lose his individuality, it does make him into a far more aggressive fighter than normal. His claws and teeth are sharper and slightly longer, and his overall strength and firepower is increased. In spite of it’s advantages, it can wear him out fast, a reality made worse when he has no control over it at the moment - as he’ll transform often at random with no way to stop it, and sometimes revert back at the least desirable of times (i.e. during a fight). At the moment he is currently learning magic himself so gain control of his unpredictable powers.
