Now back to the true chapter of me and Meika. But before I begin, let me state some things. First of all that other person with their RR comic, some say they are the most dedicated fan. Well that is a stretch because besides me, they have made a few mistakes. Like the back of Meika's car was drawn wrong. If you compare it to the back of her car especially seen in the episode Right on Time, you'll see they messed up. Also they not only make her ears too long, but the fur pattern for her ears are messed up. This was also noticed with the inside of Tamira's ears which at the bottom were done wrong. If you are a dedicated fan you would make sure you are truly drawing these things correctly like I did. Now granted lighting and shadding is a different game, but the design of these things without those shouldn't be hard to do right. Which is why I use refs from the show to make these the best I possibly can.

Racing World

A Race Underwater

The next day the racers had been delivered to where they were going to race next at the chosen area of Aispir City. And it was racing in a series of tubes underwater. It was all part of a course that had been designed some years back. When not in use it served as a tourist attraction where people could take a ride and see the underwater life since this city was near the ocean. The water was kept clean and clear by law and it was near the boardwalk where the amusement park, aquarium, and water park were. “We’re actually going to be underwater?” Sonny stated when seeing this with Mia. “Cool!”

“It’s quiet a track,” the panda told him. “Just don’t get too distracted by the scenery down there.”

The female had a point as after seeing some brief video footage of this track showed that the tubes were close enough to the surface that there was light to see the vast rock formations and underwater life of the ocean down below. At least this wasn’t tropical like as this city got all four seasons. That would’ve been more from where Cody and his girl Kira originally came from. “You think we’ll race there?” Meika asked at one point.

“Honestly, no idea,” Ashely replied since the two were talking with a few of the others beforehand.

But now in the present the racers were ready to take off. “Welcome all you race fans to the beautiful city of Aispir!” Blitz announced. This time Ms. Dira and Alfred were next to him. “Today our racers will race in the very waters right behind us in tubes made for this kind of sport!”

“But other than that, there are no things to look out for but each other and not to be distracted by the stuff under!” the buck commented. “And the tubes can withstand the special ability of the cars!”

“We’re just waiting for the race to begin!” Ms. Dira said.

At the orphanage, the children were all tuned into the race on the T.V. with Martha and her husband also watching. They all had the colors and flags made of who in Nicholas and Meika’s group they were supporting. Those guys had stopped by a couple of days before and seen this which really meant a lot to them. Those from the pawn shop were watching while Danny, some from his shop, Miss Ballard’s niece, and her parents, were at the actual track with the rest of the audience to support Tamira and the others. Down where the cars were, Cody was focused. The otter was determined to win good this time. After all, not only was this race underwater, but also in a place that was one of his home turfs. Nicholas was like that as well. The lights then began the countdown and the engines of the cars roared to life. The green ones came on and the racers were off and they went under an arch and into a tunnel. There was hardly any room to maneuver around in here. But then they blasted out into a huge tunnel made of clear material. “Whoa…” Tag said when he saw this.

Meika was also stunned for a second. It reminded her of the date she had with Nicholas at the aquarium just seeing the sea life in the tunnels there. But then the vixen turned her attention back to the present. Especially since Axel as was most often the case, had gotten ahead of the entire pack. Pike, Vyxx, Zeno, and Razor were right behind the avian. “How the hell do they always do that?!” Mia asked, seeing this.

Then came a split in the path and the drivers choose either one. The tubes were overlapping the other so they could see the path that hadn’t been chosen and those on it. They all then came out into another tunnel again and they could see colorful structures meant to look like coral along with seaweed. Nicholas and Meika figured that next time they had a chance they would come here on another date. The reason they hadn’t done this in the six months beforehand was because this place had been closed to the public the whole time due to a major maintenance checkup. But the two quickly put that thought in the back of their minds and focused on what was ahead. And it was a good thing because this was where Ashley decided to up her game. The feline grinned as she activated her car’s power. It was called Nine Scratches, based around the Cat of Nine Tails Whip. The launchers on the Velvet Paw came out and energy that looked like cat claws emerged. These were launched ahead and scratched at a couple of the racers, shredding their tires and slowing them down so the feline could get ahead. Meika saw this and looked a little weary. “I’d hate to be on the receiving end of that,” the vixen said.

Meanwhile Meelo was side by side with Jessica. “Hey Meelo, think it’s time to take out the competition?” the female chameleon asked.

“Not yet,” he replied. “Wait a bit longer.”

Just then someone slammed him from behind. It was Krom. “Where do you think you’re going little lizard?” the crocodile asked with an evil grin.

“Okay now you can,” Meelo told Jessica.

She put on the brakes to slow down and have the crocodile get ahead. “Time to show you what I can do,” the female stated.

She activated the Jungle Rider’s ability called Tongue Catcher. The front transformed to form a launcher of some kind. After getting a lock on Krom’s car, Jessica fired a cable that had energy around it to make it look like a chameleon’s tongue. It made contacted and pulled him back. The crocodile was now away from Meelo and Jessica was pulled forward. “Good shot there,” the male said to her.

“Thanks! Now let’s get ahead!” Jessica began to move forward while the male was struck with a thought. And that was how different this female was with Vyxx. But then Meelo put that in the mind vault for now.

The group of racers still in this then entered another closed tunnel but one that was wider than the first one and looked more like some kind of sewer system. The lighting here wasn’t as bright as the one in the glass tubes but still light enough to see. At certain points on the sides, one could see falling water, almost like a waterfall running down. This added a nice touch to the metal that made up this tunnel. It was here that some, like Meika, activated their car’s abilities to gain the lead and pull ahead. The tunnel then opened up to another wide area but in the clear tubes underwater. “What a battle under the sea this is turning out to be!” Blitz was commenting. “Nobody is giving an inch! Let’s now go live a bit to Becks and Beaks and see what they think!”

“It is quite a show!” the goat commented as those watching saw him and the parrot on the T.V. screen now. “Perhaps after this we can take a ride down there ourselves!”

Down in the tube, the path split into three and were going all over the place and over each other. And it was at such high speeds that it was sometimes hard to tell what was going on. Axel was waiting for the perfect moment to blast ahead. But then Victor cut the first avian off. The two glared at the other as a rivalry had begun to form between them. They were both aces and kings of speed. But on this track there could be only one. But then the cars made it to another tunnel that was wide. It was what Mia had been waiting for. The panda activated her car’s power, Cherry Blossom Shock. Near the back part at the roof, the shooters came out of the Bamboo Slicer. They shot harden fibers, each looking like blossoms in the wind. These made contact with some of the tires that belongs to the cars of opposing drivers. They lost friction and began to skid. The result was some crashes and flips, knocking some out of the race. Sonny came up behind her. “Wow, remind me to never cross your bad side!” he called to her.

“You never could you know!” she replied back. “The only ones who need to fear my wrath are those who would hurt you or my friends!”

“Well glad I have someone I can count on!”

At this point the racers were halfway through the race. And now things were going to get even more crazy. They came out of the tunnel and saw the tubes split into five different paths now. Axel saw this and began to use his car’s power. “Oh no you don’t!” Victor stated and rammed his car into the Falcon Mach-1 so its driver couldn’t use her power. Axel glared at the Lyrie bird.

“I know all your moves!” the second avian declared. “Don’t expect me to slow down!”

“Well I think Axel here might not be able to even use his car’s ability!” Becks stated. “It might just be now down to skill since Victor is stopping the ace!”

The rest of the racers who hadn’t screwed up at this point since there were some who did at this split and were out of the race made it to the final big tunnel. After that there would be only one more tube and then the finish line. Cody had finally managed to catch up and pull ahead. The otter grinned. His chance had come to use his car’s power. The guy hit the button and his car, the Surfing Hummer, activated Washed Up. From the sides came what looked like blue colored pipes. They sent what appeared to be a surge of water at the cars ahead. But this liquid was different as it would mess up the racers. This made full contact with a few ahead, two of which were Vyxx and Zeno. Razor and Pike on the other hand saw the attack coming in. The wolf got hit a bit which didn’t affect him as much but made him slow down. The feline on the other hand had to swerve out of the way. But it was enough for the otter to pull ahead of the pack. Nicholas and Meika did as well. The husky passed the lupine’s car with a smirk, flipping him the bird and drove off. “That bastard is pissing me off!” the lupine snarled angrily.

Pike tried to activate his car’s power but was stopped due to Sonny coming up and using his car’s power to blast the lupine and slow him even more. “Ouch!” Becks commented.

“Hurting!” Beaks squawked.

“What a move!” Blitz stated. “Sonny has slowed Pike down even more! It seems those rookies only had luck at the beginning and now it’s worn off! The vets are really showing it to them now!”

Nicholas was looking ahead. “Damn, at the rate Cody’s going there’s no way to win…”

The husky was studying, eyes squinting. And then the guy saw it. There was a path that could allow him to win. Considering how after flipping Pike off, the male felt at this point there was nothing to lose. Sure there might be a chance the otter was expecting it seeing as how some of the faster racers had done this but so far the canine hadn’t. Nicholas gunned it and Meika saw what the guy was doing. “Wait… what are you doing?!” she exlaimed.

“Winning!” the guy said more to himself despite having heard the vixen’s yell.

Cody saw him coming up from behind. “What the hell?!” the otter asked.

Tag looked and saw what the husky was going to do. Since there was enough room, the tiger activated his car’s power. He only hoped there was enough time. The Ripper prepared to jump. Meika saw it to but then had to concentrate to make sure she at least got in fourth. Almost at the same time The Ripper jumped just as the Lighting Blizzard picked up enough speed and rode on the side of the tube. It allowed Nicholas to pull ahead of Cody. The husky saw what Tag was doing and gunned it. The two could see the finish line ahead as the two cars came side by side since Tag’s racer landed after using its power. The two were neck and neck. And then the cars went over the finish line. Only by looking at the replay in slow motion was a winner able to be determined. “It’s Nicholas!” Becks announced. “By a mere inch Nicholas has won the race!”

The cars were back where they had started on the surface. The two males got out of the car with Cody and Meika right behind them with the otter in third and the vixen in fourth. “I thought I had this,” the otter said but then grinned. “But what a hell of a race dude!”

“You said it,” the husky replied and the two bumped fists. Tag and Meika was just glad as the reporters came out to where they were. Nicholas was hopping his folks and others were watching on his first true victory by coming in the number one spot. And best of all not only had Pike been beaten once again, flipping him off was the icing on the cake. The male with glasses though was still weary of some others as there was still a dangerous game with High Command and The Ring Masters. But so far no real trouble had come out yet. Despite how the husky was smiling he was always alert just in case. But for now it was time for celebration, right before the next race.

Now that everyone had show their car's power once, races from now on unless in the show will have them be done at random.
