I made another cat painting. This is a 5 x 7 image I made using acrylic paints on a scrap piece of black matt board. I based it on these striped journals I saw at the book store. I just keep thinking, "how can I make everything, even this simple striped journal, have cats hidden in it...?"

I wasn't happy with the painting really and then I sealed it and suddenly the black of the matt board started to show through the painting, giving it this awesome antique look. Which totally brings everything together very nicely. I want to do a bunch of variant color versions of these guys. Maybe figure out a different way of doing the cats so they don't have to be long cat vertical. LOL. Should be fun.

I want to do a pink/red one next.
