The original piece garnered interest for a follow-up, and given that the holidays are in full swing, a fun party-oriented piece was too good to pass up.
Unlike everyone else, Asael most definitely included, Mirage is not aware of the unzipped zipper on her dress, hence the chill she's getting, and it's not just Jasmine's cold stares!
This is as close as I've ever gotten to draw Aladdin and Jasmine's faces. XD
The background needed something to give it a little bit of a party flavor, so DJ Genie is at the helm. The DeadMau5 reference was a last-minute thing. While funny, it is kinda creepy. ^^;
It's true what they say: black shows everything. Despite laying black markers at the silhouettes, imperfections still showed, so Photoshop CS2 Levels Tool had to uniformly darken them.
Honestly, I thought I wasn't going to be able to upload it in time for Christmas. Time just seem to fly the last two weeks, and a bout of procrastination didn't do me any favors. But a chill Christmas Eve at home provided the perfect opportunity to finish the last 10% of the piece, (penciling and inking Mirage's head, the rest was done), then on to scanning, lettering and uploading.
