I never really get anything done by Christmas time, but not this year! :) I always love this Christmas special, rewatch em every year, and I am quite a fans of Rudolph the red nose reindeer even more so than Santa himself. XD So here he is! In his classic RankinBass form. Enjoyed working on this cutie ^^
Time really flies for me this year, with a blink of and eyes (constantly in front of a computer screen) it has been an entire year already! So looking forward to a brand new year, and it would be great to hear how you guys are doing!Happy holidays!

Usually Rudolph's nose is just a round olive, so it's interesting to see what a red glowing nose looks like in it's natural form. Boy, the other reindeer has a point, it does look odd. The poor dear jaja okno, it only makes him cuter.
I'm afraid to admit that when I was a kid, the stop motion Rudolf movie creeped me out. And the abominable snowman gave me nightmares. xD

At first I was going to do the round nose too, also he shouldn’t even has an eyebrows in his design but decided to added them later, dunno if that was the right decision....but yeah, if his nose is even more realistic, it will look weird.
Lol, I can understand that completely. I think the ‘98 is a cute version too, his design isn’t that bad at all, I also like him despite the fact that the story doesn’t make much sense. But hey, it is all Christmas fun. XD maybe I will draw him next time. ^^

He probably would have looked adequate without the eyebrows if only the reason that his eyes are very large and expressive in themselves. Otherwise, it doesn't look out of place for him to have eyebrows here.
I bet you next year or the next there will be a real life animated film hitting theaters. I worry how weird they will make it look, whether intentional or not lol.
That movie actually inspired my drawings back a few years ago. And yeah, stories like that are not supposed to make sense jaja.
