Because Lightsabers are spiffy. ^.^
Finnished up some old sketchwork, and did some quick shadeing to get the blade effects to stand out properly. Tho- i think the color balance here is a bit TOO dark here... and the saber and eyes don't draw attention as well as I'd planned. Which is odd, cause i thought the placement looked pretty effective before coloring it...
Ohyeah, and that's the Moldy Crow, hovering in the background. Shame Kyle trashed it in Dark Forces 2, it was a kewl ship! My lightsaber has a cobalt-blue blade and uses a Solari-Hybrid crystal.

Not easy??? as in NOT totally omfg impossible??? I mean- i force pull, and nothing happens. but if 'I' get force pulled, I'm instantly on my back and being dragged to my opponent, and he Smacks me across the whole level for an INSTANT death!!!
After that happened 50 or so times in a row... I realized, as cannon fodder, I wasn't getting any better. I suspect, somehow, I am genetically pre-determined to suck at that game. Xp

Thx! I've been trying to make my blade a little more unique, compared to your average lightsaber. I figure Lightsabers are works of art- reflecting the individual who constructs and wields it. and given that the inner blade has that 'sketchyness' too it...
Hmm, now that you mention it- I can only think of 3 yellow lightsabers: One that used the Solari Crystal, and could only be wielded by someone with a pure soul... Plo Kun's Masterblade, which was a lightsaber strong enough to cut through other lightsabers... And the blade wielded by Zayne Carrak- a rather brillantly unorthodox patawan.

Plus this may be a little more steroypical, but I'd want to have twin sabers, y-know construct two of them for myself rather than the single blade most are happy with, perhaps if they could even link at the base to form a saber-staff in a pinch...

Heh, Ever since Ep1... I stick with the single-blade, cause it just seems to have a simple elegance to it. Even if i AM Clumsy and Random. ^^;

What really annoys the heck out of is is the droids from the previous two movies talking like they produced helium and responding like they feel pain. They make crappy combatants, and even worse comic relief. And of course, Grievous can't put up a decent lightsaber fight. Yeah, I know Windu critically injured him, but it wasn't it movie so it doesn't count! Hell, Palpatines kidnapping would have been a better opening.

Nff... I think those droids were DUE for a win... *tries to shake off the post-beating groggyness* You know, you could make a MINT outfitting their speech processors onto Astromech droids. Can't imagine why they'd put such 'extras' on a mass production war droid...
You know what was worse than Grievous getting 'disarmed'? Master Obi getting Force B*#$-Slapped by Count Dooku- who is then EASILY taken out by Anakin. (tho- i prefer to think the Emperor had a hand in that little force-push)
