My art summary for this year. Blank template here!
It's been one hell of a year for me personally as many things happened and I've had less time and effort to put in my pictures. At the beginning of the year I had an anniversary cruise with my man on May and visited him at Turku for couple of weeks. Then I got a part-time job at a laundry which started on the beginning of June and have been doing that for over half a year now (luckily my contract ends next year at the end of January, I'm not too fond of it).
Lots of other things happened too but I'm not going to write more about them here. My art on the other hand has been going through some little changes with style, improvement AND attitude. I promised myself this year that I would take a more casual approach to my working and not care too much about tiny details and whether the anatomy of something is even 90% correct or if my lineart is perfectly smooth & clear. I wanted to have more FUN with drawing, not push myself to the limit and kill my motivation. I've been too much of a perfectionist so I need to improve my drawing methods and mental attitude as well. And I've made progress which I'm somewhat proud of.
Don't take art too seriously! That's my motto from now on. :)
