A Visit From Dexy Clause

Looks like ol' Dexy Clause was laying out some gifts under the tree, when much to his surprise he turned to see a young golden retriever girl! Little Cindy Lou H.... Nooooooo xP Idk what her name was but I'm 99.9% sure it wasn't what you're thinking! AnyHOO... of course being the ever furriendly lion, he decided to take a little break and spend some time with her despite his tight schedule to deliver toys to children all over the world. He figured it was more than worth it to make this night truly special for the young pupper filled with awe. For a little while, the two enjoyed some delicious cookies as Dexy Clause shared a few Christmas adventure stories that she enjoyed very much. But soon enough Dexy's cat senses tingled, letting him know he was beginning to run behind. So with that "Off to bed! You need your rest and I've lots of work to do." Dexy Clause says to the girl with a warm smile, hopping up to stretch and ready himself to continue his journey on this busiest of nights. But just as he tossed the large bag over his shoulder, about to head towards the Chimney, he felt a little tug on his blue tuft of tailfur. He turned around to see the girl holding his tail with an excited expression.

"Can I come and be your little helper?" She squeaked happily. Dexter giggled to himself, thinking the idea rather cute. But he wanted her to stay here so she could wake up early on Christmas morn and spend time with her family. "Hmmmmmm..." Dexter thought for a few seconds until an idea crossed his mind. "Ahhh" His ears perking as he dropped to a knee before her, then broke the news that he couldn't bring her along. However, there was something else he could do for her. He then reached back into his large bag and pulled out an extra fluffy teddy bear, offering it to her as an early gift if she agreed to return to bed and get some good rest for the day ahead. She at first seemed disappointed, but the moment she laid eyes on the soft fluffy teddy bear with its adorable smile, her face lit up with excitement again as she leapt forth; giving the teddy bear a big hug. With that she gave Dexy Clause a big hug too, then quickly yet quietly made her way back to her room with the teddy bear; a new friend to keep her company as she rested up for a Wonderful Christmas ahead.

Dexy Clause couldn't help but smile, feeling a magical warmth on the inside as he made his way towards the chimney. With a quick and powerful leap, he makes his way back to the roof where his magic flying broomstick awaits; loaded with toys. There were many more hours left in the night with countless houses to visit; but to him, spreading that Christmas joy to kiddos across the globe made the effort more than worth it!

This absolutely gorgeous Christmas themed illustration done by the ever lovely artist  Silvixen Can't say enough how much I love the way this warming, magical scene came out! Brings back memories of Christmas Eve, wanting so much to wake up in the middle of the night, or stay up to see Santa. But ofc being a cat, missing out on sleep is an absolute no no x3 But still good times. Many many thanks to Silvixen for the time and effort put into creating this scene!
