As the Autobots and Decepticons begin to settle in for the war on Earth, Starscream begins to put his own plans against Megatron into motion.

Autobots appearing in both versions of this story are Optimus Prime, Scavenger, Red Alert, Smokescreen, Hot Shot, and Blurr. Appearing in the re-edit, but not the original, are Jetfire, Ultra Magnus, and King Atlas. Making their first appearances in the re-edit are Air Raid, Kup, and Elita One. Mentioned but not appearing in either version are Checkpoint and Silverbolt.

Decepticons appearing in both versions of this story are Megatron, Starscream, Cyclonus, Demolishor, and Thrust. Appearing in the re-edit, but not the original, is Obsidian. Making their first appearances in the re-edit are Straxus, Tankor, and Wreckage. No additional Decepticons were mentioned.
