This is so far out of character for me, I'm having an out-of-body experience. Fluffy! Shiny! Girly! Sparkle on with yo' bad self.

In point of fact, I had this project about a third of the way done way back in 2011. The lady who'd commissioned it died a couple of years later, and I lost heart for the project for a good long while. I took another look at it about a month ago. I said to myself, "It needs bling. Lots of bling. How far can I push the bling before it becomes too much?" ...Turns out I can go a good long way.

The angel was done with Prismacolor pencils over watercolor, with gold paint pen accents.

The background is watercolor with pearlescent effects, glitter, and Vinyl sticky things that I drew and cut out. There are rose quartz stones in the little circle things above her head. The rest consists of about 500 acrylic rhinestones.
