At about the same time I was finishing up my junior year in college, taking some of the coolest courses I'll ever remember having taken my entire collegian career at the University of Arizona, there was this one assignment in particular that I absolutely loved. It was an illustration specific class where we were assigned to create a series of characters, mostly a protagonist and a sidekick for said character and that sparked an explosion of random inspiration I wish I could have more of and act on these days.

I even came up with a story for this all, in some alternate universe (cartoon of course) where nuclear war has wiped practically everything off the planet and only a few strange remnants of life remain; somehow, a container of radioactive waste becomes sentient with the memories of someone who lived before the great war which wiped the planet 'clean' and is out to find answers for him and his planet's demise. In the run, he encounters a slew of characters who would become his allies, his enemies and strange creatures which have taken shape since the nuclear fallout that has morphed the planet indefinitely.

I still think about this idea and I still wonder when I might do something with it because it's still a fresh idea in my head to this date, haha!

So allow me to fill you in on a couple of the characters and creatures presented.

The big large purple thing with the neon green stomach is named Radzilla.

The littlest guy running away from Radzilla as fast as his little legs can take him is named Kid.AFK.

The guy up in front, our main protagonist, OMG.Man.

In the second bit there's OMG.Man again with another one of his cohorts he runs into later in the wasteland named BRB-Boy.

Then in the last bit there's OMG.Man and Kid.AFK surviving the wastes from Dingbats and Papyrusnakes.

If you haven't noticed yet, you can see I used alot of internetisms around this concept. That was a strong bit of the point there to be used.
