A laser etching project for a Fall 2019 art class.

I took an old photograph that I had taken of my late cat, Shirley back in 1990 and traced over it in Adobe Illustrator which served as a guide for a laser etching device to create the image on artboard. I added pastels and water-soluble crayon for some color. Then I glued some reflective gold paper behind the image so it could show through the portions that were cut out.
