Joanna the bongo antelope. Skittish and somewhat aloof, needs some ice-breaking to get to know her better. Works at archives of an university hospital, provides assistance for research by finding relevant materials (aka. Information Science Antelope). Having daily contact with such disease-related things messes up her sensitive mind a little, making her constantly worried about her health, and going crazy with fitness and diets.

Yes she is. I just love those spiral-horn antelopes (Tragelaphini), there are many little-known, cool looking species there, and they tend to have cool native names too: bongo, nyala, sitatunga, kudu...
I think we talked about this foot shape before. It's not exactly my own invention, I've even seen a name "planti-hoof feet" being used. The actual implementation I have here is a result of a little artistic research I made, even taking the structure of actual cloven-hoof foot of a roe deer into account. The unexpected end effect was that I even "converted" Kalahari to use this design.
I probably should make some sort of detail closeup sheet (or whatever to call it) for her, but that's for later. I need some more inspiration for that, and I'd like to get the basic ref sheets done first...

I didn't plan as much as skeleton... But some close-ups of details such as hands, feet, horns, maybe mouth, etc.
Interestingly, I was never into researching these bone & muscle structures for art, yet I think I get the anatomy mostly right. Maybe it helps that I have some biology-related education, so these matters of physiology and anatomy somehow stayed with me.

I think I've seen it, or something similar at least. And yes, the basic internal structure of mammals is surprisingly similar in many aspects which are not even always apparent on the outside. Often it's just a matter of sizes and relative proportions, this part is longer, that part is smaller...
