This really, really makes me sad because I cannot for the life of me find the original high res PSDs of this very short lived series, of all the things I misplace, this had to be one of them.

Anyhow, a couple years back when I was in college I remember reading an opening for a comic strip artist in the local university paper. I thought "How cool! I could be like Bill Watterson! Get me some crazy newspaper comic strips!" When the truth about it was, I'd NEVER done comic strips before this, ever.

In short, I never got the position. It's not that they didn't like me, they did, and they loved my work but... for some reason, whatever it was, as WEIRD as it was, I never got hired and I never tried again because of that.

So for the past five years or so this very short lived series has been sitting dormant for too long and I've decided to bring it back to life as well as bringing to light the eight (this being four of the eight) pieces which were presented but never got accepted into the public eye.

It'll be interesting to see how I'll pick this one back up.

Also, this isn't to be mistaken with my main character Juju, though this particular Juju IS the same, sort of, it's more of an alternate universe, more cartoony, skitchy piece that allows me to cut loose. So as far as actual Juju and NNJJ (NekoNeko.Juju.Jumbo) are concerned, they are not canon to each other... ish.
