There was a werebear... or rather, a child that turned into a 9-foot werebear. An offensive Remove Curse actually worked but... they ran into a back room and used the cursed item and potion we were supposed to get as the quest reward, then came back even stronger and it turned into kill or be killed.
Mistake is neutral good and this isn't sitting well with him :(
