Regardless of that, this is Nathan as he'd normally appear. What you see is the entire extent of his clothing, preferring to wear little more than the necessary protective gear for the forge due to his susceptibility to extreme heat. Also pictured here is his scar. The scar is the result of an encounter with a hunter when he was young, and before he was adopted by the Hunter's Guild.
