For a while, you thought it was kinda odd that they keep making all these clothes for a Sym, since Syms can just poof some clothes out of thin air.
When you eventually asked why, it turns out they're just using her as an excuse to practice making clothes that are really tiny, as some hybrids (like the hummingbird, bori and ant hybrids) have resorted to wearing hand-made, non-elastic clothing (or go naked) in their off hours.
