Yes I am all safe, thank-you! The fires are mostly south of me now. My parent's were in danger for a little while but luckily there was some rain that came and put the fires out around them. I drove down to visit them over Christmas and the whole countryside was burned. It was so sad, but the Australian forest will regenerate very quickly, as the fire helps it to grow faster. It is all the animals that we have lost that upsets me the most.
