Well I remembered my koi dragon Kai existed and decided I should probably give him a bit of attention again. Here's him as a voracious pirate captain glutting on some officers from the ship he's attacked, and getting quite fat by the end of it :3
The pirate Captain Kai feasts on some of the crew of a ship he's ambushed...
Captain’s Fill
By: Indi
As pirates began to board the crippled ship with glee, Captain Kai casually strolled toward the bow. The blue-and-white koi dragon shed first his jacket, and then his shirt, letting the sun hit the scales of his flat middle. The sounds of clashing swords and angry shouts filled the air, the battle underway elsewhere. Usually Kai would’ve been with his crew already, wadding into the fight. But today he was more interested in grabbing a bite to eat.
With grace the koi dragon dived over the edge of his ship, dipping beneath the waves and darting through the water with ease. Thanks to his gills and fins he was just as at home underneath the water as above it. He took advantage of that fact whenever possible.
Kai swam around the steadily swaying hull of the ship being boarded. He surfaced on the opposite side, his gaze straight up. Near the railings above, a member of his crew was fighting what looked to be an officer of some sort.
They were a cheetah, and a surprisingly plump one at that. Their slightly fancier uniform clung to their round middle, which wobbled with every strike and block of their sword. They were skilled, but not quite a match for the pirate wearing them down. All Kai really cared about, though, was how delicious they looked.
“Lunchtime!” Kai yelled, loud enough to be heard over the fighting. The cheetah’s ear twitched at the odd shout, while the pirate facing them simply smiled. Suddenly the force behind their strikes increased. The cheetah was quickly overwhelmed. A hard swing knocked the sword from their paw, while a harder shove pushed them against and over the railing.
The cheetah cried out as he fell overboard, arms outstretched to face the water rushing to meet him. Seconds before impact he saw a maw opening wide beneath the surface. His paws struck water, then flesh. He knew he was diving down someone’s gullet, but was powerless to stop or alter his descent.
The flow of water and the force of his impact caused the cheetah to glide right into Kai’s stomach. His head and shoulders forced Kai’s throat to stretch, and of course so did his pudgy paunch. The koi dragon’s middle swiftly swelled with water and cheetah, like a balloon being inflated. The cheetah practically slammed into the soft walls of Kai’s stomach, and he was curled up.
Kai closed his mouth as soon as he felt his meal’s footpaws pass through it, halting the intake of water as well. In the blink of an eye, the pirate captain had swallowed the cheetah whole.
His bulging belly shook fiercely, the cheetah putting up as much of a fight within as he had above. The extra weight and force of the meal had caused Kai to sink some. He shifted so he was floating on his back, his claws eagerly squeezing and rubbing his swollen gut. It was a wonderful sensation, being so full, having a lively prey wiggling around within. It was one of the main reasons Kai bothered eating people.
If he’d had the time, Kai would’ve lazed about underwater, groping and admiring his stuffed middle. But there was still a fight going on aboard the ship. Besides, Kai was feeling particularly gluttonous.
Carefully Kai spun himself in the water, his gut sagging towards the depths. The bracers of strength he wore allowed him to compensate for the extra weight in his gut. He didn’t swim quite as smoothly as before, but he wasn’t slowed down much, either.
The squirms and kicks in his stomach weren’t getting any weaker. Kai didn’t mind. The futile efforts only reminded him of the size of his meal. Hope you don’t mind becoming fish fat, Kai thought. Not that you have a choice.
When Kai resurfaced it took a bit more effort to stay afloat. But only a bit. The fighting on deck was quieter, and he saw fewer foes above. Amongst them was a somewhat doughy snake who was busy gulping down a pair of flailing paws, even as he fended off two other nervous pirates. Clearly the captain. No one else would’ve been able to eat nearly as well on a ship that wasn’t pirating a few filling snacks.
From the moment he eyed the snake, Kai wanted him in his belly. It didn’t matter that he’d already glutted on a fat cheetah, or that one of his own men was trapped in the cramped brig that was the snake’s gut. What mattered was the thought of his belly swollen to the size of a boulder, stuffed with an opposing engorged captain and officer, the greatest prize of all.
“Send me seconds!” Kai roared, and all on the ship heard.
The snake turned in confusion, a costly mistake. The pirates didn’t hesitate, despite the fact their latest order would probably doom their unlucky fellow who’d gotten snatched and eaten. It was their own fault for getting careless. And of course their share of the spoils would now be a little larger. They charged in unison, catching the snake off-guard and sending him barreling right through the railing.
With his balance impeded by his thrashing middle, the snake couldn’t catch himself. He cursed as he fell, flipping over and landing claws-first in the water.
Just like before, Kai was waiting and ready.
There was a fierce splash as the snake’s gut hit the water. He was already half-way down Kai’s throat, the realization of his true predicament just starting to hit as unseen lips stretched around his massive middle. Water flooded into Kai’s full belly, along with prey. The snake managed a final, cut-off curse before he vanished beneath the waves, jaws sealing him away.
Kai winced as his middle swelled impossibly huge, hide stretching so much his splotches of blue distorted. He started sinking right away. Bubbles rushed out of Kai’s mouth as he moaned in pleasure, struggling to focus with how ridiculously stuffed he was. His unwilling meals were so squeezed together they couldn’t properly fight, reduced to frenzied wiggling that did little more than tickle the ravenous koi dragon who’d consumed them.
Eventually Kai remembered to swim, reversing his descent and lazily returning to a more comfortable depth.
The captain could never have climbed out of the water on his own with a gut so enormous. Thankfully his crew knew exactly what to do.
A short while later a large net fell into the water, sinking a fair bit before the ropes leading above the surface grew taut. Kai paddled over to it, slowly turning himself so he was resting on the net like a hammock. Once he was settled the whole thing began to rise.
Kai playfully spit out a fountain of water as he breached the surface. There were cheers and laughter above him, the crew lined up to watch their captain get fished out of the sea.
“You’re practically a whale now, Captain!” one yelled.
“He might just fall through the deck!”
“Guess we’ll be turning the cargo hold into his new quarters!”
Kai reveled in the comments, which made him grin wider and wider. He saw a few sporting bulging bellies of their own. While he didn’t encourage mid-fight meals on deck, he didn’t punish the act either. Those able to pull it off tended to be his best, and their swelling waistlines were an asset at rowdy taverns and questionable meetings.
Prisoners had been taken, most of them in rough shape but alive. One—a seagull—had a large gut that’d burst free of his uniform, wobbling in his lap.
“So two of ya managed to get guzzled fighting these saps? Maybe I’ve been too easy on you lot!” Kai bellowed as he was gently lowered onto deck. Carefully positioned barrels and sacks helped prop him up a little, so he could at least directly address both his men and the captives.
“Bill was drunk on rum and swung right into the gull’s beak, Captain!” A crewmember admitted.
The seagull’s belly bounced more aggressively, the muffled voice of Bill inaudible from within.
“Well then I say he’s been promoted to bird stuffing!” Kai chuckled, earning laughs from the crew. He turned his attention to the prisoners. “Well then, your Captain and his officer proved a delightful feast. My compliments to all the disobedient sailors who plumped them up for me.” His own gut writhed in fury, making him blush. “For now, you’re all being added to our lovely pantry while we head to port. Any who haven’t been used as rations before then will be free to join my lovely crew. And any who refuse...well nothing sells better than prey at the market!”
Most of the captives cowered as they were eyed by hungry pirates. The seagull seemed a little too pleased with his meal to care. Kai hoped he’d prove cooperative. If not, then at least he’d prove delicious.
It took a full day for Kai to digest his overindulgent meal and regain his mobility, and by then he was a very different dragon.
Formerly lean and fit, he’d gained a heavy, round gut that jiggled with every step he took. He left it exposed, having few shirts large enough that fit. He still wore his jacket, though it had no hope of buttoning completely. His cheeks were round, his whole snout softer and plumper than ever. His tail had thickened considerably, and swayed less—but thumped a lot harder when he felt the need.
Kai had, at the very least, doubled in weight. And he loved it. In the past he’d used various potions to fend off the calories of his meals, but they’d run out and neglected to restock. A pleasant mistake as far as he was concerned—though he reminded the ship quartermaster he’d become brunch if he messed up too often.
He smiled at the handful of fatter members of his crew as he made his way to the brig—which they all referred to as the pantry. The captives all stared at Kai, knowing their former captain was somewhere on the koi dragon’s doughy waistline. His own gaze was on the fattest amongst them: the seagull.
Bill had become pure bird blubber, and the seagull now sported a respectable paunch and a uniform that clung tightly to him. The sight of him made Kai’s stomach rumble, but for once he was going to show some restraint. “I know I said the offers to join my crew would wait until we reached port, but I’m willing to make an exception for you, glutton.” Kai said. “If you accept, I’ll let you out of that cage right now and find you a more suitable outfit. But only if you waddle out with one of your old crew struggling in that hungry gut of yours.”
The seagull was quiet, and for a moment Kai feared he was going to refuse and be fated for a feast. But then he realized the seagull wasn’t hesitating—he was looking at the other prisoners and choosing his next meal.
Kai let out a hearty laugh as the seagull lunged at a chubby fox, the second-fattest in the brig. His raid may have lost him two crew members, but the one he was gaining looked to be twice as capable—and soon to be twice as fat.
