Rosalind can be a bit over-protective and controlling. Cirrus, even though he's a bit of a crybaby and coward at times, was raised by prairies and knows how to defend himself just fine. The did resolve this but it did take some time

Cirrus happened to land at a pond where Rosalind had been grooming herself. She instantly fell in love, professing how perfect Cirrus was, from his pure white coat, his fluff, and down to his rather bland feathers. Cirrus, was very confused.
