at full speed my ships can travel from between 45 and 55 times the speed of sound... as far as i know impulce drive dosent go that fast

but you seem to be thinking in the typical spatial combat situations... short range energy based weapons, all of my ship mounted weapons have massive amounts of accuricy at unimaginable ranges, my gauss55 1000mm super-cannon could rip the side of a borg cube with a ceasium contact high explosive at over 33.000.000Km's

Kinetics aren't useless unless you're just sending one or two rounds at a time. I mean, even THEIR shields can't stand up very long against a meteor swarm, and a railgun would send a round at them with far more energy than any meteor would ever have.

Ummm, all you need is a tractorbeam or some sort of magnetic system if you're using local debris as a weapon, and we know those both exist in Star Trek. I'm sure the Federation could steal some Borg tractor beams sooner or later...and they already have magnets.

You could also ignite the rear end of the meteor with a phaser-beam, turning the meteor into a self-propelling warhead. Or simply detonate a photon torpedo in a cloud of them with a shaped blast to direct them all in the direction of the Borg cube.

You know, basic NASA anti-asteroid ideas, just used for a military victory. XD

As if you could use a tractorbeam to move an asteroid fast enough to be a threat.
By the time you got passed the inursha, The Borg would have moves out of the way.

Well, yes, unless they use a blackout bomb or EMP. And they're known to use the latter.

They can't stop a chemical reaction, however, especially one that's mechanically initiated.

Sometimes, the simpler the design, the more reliable it is, especially when dealing with them.

most torpedoes are mechanicaly activated, the amelias avenger torpedoe has 50KG's of ceasium reactant that will go off on impact no matter what

my ships are basic and low-tech... the borg would have no interest in them, they have no energy sheilding, they have basic computer function, they use nuclear fission engines and they are VERY small
