So back to me and Meika in our story first I wanted to show everyone that our somewhat canon story isn't all flowers and sunshine. Bad things can still happen. Also I've stupidly been giving Xeno’s name wrong starting with a Z instated of an X by mistake and that will be fixed from now on. Also on our sour note someone else is suffering I beleive as karma for laughing meanly behind my back with the other idiots for my hard work on this. Since they couldn’t understand how I feel about that way with my Meika I will continue the Sky story but will no longer be watching her. Let that be a lesson to other. Once people fuck with me one too many times I don’t forgive easily. And that it’s best not to underestimate me or my friends who are supporting me in this. Also it takes a long time for me to forgive those who have wronged me.

A Disaster
The next few weeks had gone by and now it found Becks, Beaks, and Blitz live again. “Welcome back everybody!” the goat stated.
“Welcome!” the parrot said.
“We were just discussing how exciting the last past weeks have been for this tournament!” the flying fox commented with his usual grin.
“Early on, the new rookies seemed to dominate the tournament; but how things have changed!” Becks stated. “From Sonny taking the top spot in Rockslide Mountain to Meika edging out Tamira at the Sixstring Speedway.” And that was just those two. Throughout the weeks, others had been doing well. Victor had also gotten in first in a track that was high in the air. Nicholas didn’t mind losing to the Lyrie bird this time since at least Pike and the other evil racers hadn’t gotten in first. Another of the races that had happened near where Mia had grown up, the panda had won in first as well. But the husky was most proud of Meika’s victory and the two had even shared a hug in celebration.
“However, what’s really got people talking is the incredible revitalized performance from last year’s runner-up; Tag!” Footage of the guy showing his last win was shown. Pike had been pissed during it. “This kid is just full of surprises! The moves that he’s been pulling off in the last few races? Whatever training he’s been putting himself through off the track, it’s certainly showing results on the track.” A scoreboard with the racers and their point values were then shown, showing the results. “With his name going up the scoreboards, it’s hard to imagine Tag without a smile on his face.” It was to be noted that Nicholas and Victor’s name were right up there at the top to with the evil racers.
Now the Ark was heading towards where the next race would take place at a desert like canyon called Canyon Dunes. This area was one of the driest places in the world but had a gorgeous canyon system carved out long ago by water in the ancient past. During the afternoon it was also one of the hottest places on the planet. That was why this race would happen during sunset when the temperatures dropped. The Ark had arrived and now it found the racers at the Lounge and talking to others. Mr. Mane had made it and was ready for the race but was keeping an eye on things all because of Zero. His wife was in on this to but was taking a less active role. As of now, all they could do was wait as Zero was doing his investigation with Hart being one of those who was helping him investigate things. As for Riq, so far nothing new had come his way and explained to Nicholas and Tamira over the phone seperatly. However Farron had made it here as well to the surprise of many. “What are you doing here?” Nicholas asked the canine when seeing him.
“Well Nicholas not just for business but to see the race. This is the sight of the very first Aispir City Racing Tournament,” the business male replied. “A long time ago, probably before you were born.”
“That’s actually right, I do remember my history on that sir.”
“I certainly remember seeing it on the screen and that was what wanted me to help when I was a young lad. Probably about…” The guy showed with his right paw and placed it at a certain height. “This tall.”
“Really?” Meika replied with amusement since she was with Nicholas as usual. “So when you were a kid then?”
“Oh I say about that. I mean after all look at how the RPG was 14 years ago before the changes came. I was old enough to remember how things were before we got where we are today. And that’s not counting how it was even further than that.”
“Racing has existed since the dawn of time but not with cars,” Nicholas commented. “It’s hard to believe the earliest records of any racing with cars was over 150 years ago.”
“Yes indeed,” Farron agreed. “But when I saw the racers I wanted to help them so I did what I could without being a racer. I just never had it in me to be one.”
“Well you found your calling for sure,” the husky said. Just then his attention and Meika’s was called elsewhere and the conversation had to stop there.
“Good luck in the race tomorrow, both of you!” Farron called after the two as they walked away.
“He’s still nice like the last time,” Meika said to Nicholas.
“Yeah. Like I said before he seems to have a classy style.”
“Unlike you,” the vixen shot playfully. The husky got a hurt look until he saw her teasing grin.
“Stop teasing me Meika,” the male sated with a laugh. She giggled in response. Things seemed so perfect. However, the two didn’t notice Pike was glaring at them. Seeing the vixen that had gotten away from him happy and especially with the canine with glasses who had beaten him so many times made the evil lupine’s blood boil.
“Just you wait,” he muttered under his breath. “You fucking wait Nicholas…”
The day of the race then came and everyone was excited for a good, fun one. The racers were at the starting line and ready in their cars while Becks, Beaks, and Blitz made their usual announcements. Because of the many twists thrown in the last races, this one was just a regular first across the finish line kind of race. Nicholas was eager to go and win again. And if not, at least keep Pike and the others he didn’t trust from winning. The countdown began and then the lights turned green. The race was on and everyone shot forward. A sharp turn to the right happened right away, forcing the cars to slow down in order to make it. Some almost crashed because of this. Soon they were passing the first wall face with sand on the right. “Holding up there Victor?” Jacob called to the Lyrie bird since the two avians were side by side.
“Never better!” the second male replied. “Now eat my dust!” Victor took off with the Rook right behind him.
Meanwhile Nicholas was neck and neck with Meelo and Jessica. “Shall we lose him?” she asked the male chameleon, seeing the husky.
“We could but…” he began but then saw Xeno and Vyxx in his rear view mirror. “Forget Nicholas; we’ve got bigger problems to worry about.”
The female reptile saw what he meant. But then she saw Mia and Cody bearing down on those two. “Maybe some of our friends can watch our back,” she commented.
“We’ll see,” Meelo replied but on the note of agreeing.
Elsewhere Meika was having troubles of her own. Razor and Krom had targeted her and were really wedging the vixen in a tight corner. “This is not good!” she stated.
“Let’s do it Krom!” the feline told the crocodile.
The said guy nodded but then felt something slam into his car. Glaring he saw it was Sonny who had done so and Mia was with the male bear in one of his car’s monitors. “Back off!” the panda stated and activated her car’s power. It got Krom’s vehicle and was right on target. While the guy didn’t crash or get stuck, it did slow the crocodile down. It allowed Meika to shoot ahead. “You’ll pay for that!” Razor snarled.
“Not if I can help it!” Sonny replied and activated his car’s power. The evil feline got the full blast and was the one who got stuck in the sand to the side. He was left behind and out of the race.
Meanwhile Ashley was behind Daniel and Rachel. She was still trying to play the part of being on their side but also trying to pull ahead. Then her chance came to activate her car’s power and make it look like it was a natural thing to do. The feline proceed and got the two horses. “Ugh!’ Daniel grunted after feeling it. His girl was no better.
Ashley shot ahead, scanning ahead for anything to help her get into the league. Now came the next section after going over a wooden bridge. It was through a tunnel but unlike the nest, this was a path with turns only and no major branching ones. But there was a split that led to different areas outside. It was here that a couple of the racers used their car’s power to knock some of the competition out of the race. Pike was keeping a close eye on Nicholas as the lupine this time didn’t care about Tag. All the asshole wanted was to see the husky fall in this race. The remaining racers came out of the tunnel. Now there were in a part that had stone arches over their heads. Victor then spotted Axel, the avian at the head of the pack again. “You won last time; not this race!” the Lyrie bird stated.
However, Victor wouldn’t be able to do much as Pike came up behind and rammed his car into the one the Lyrie bird was driving. “YOU!” Victor exclaimed in anger.
“You’re outta of your league, bird,” the lupine said.
The guy activated his car’s power. “Oh no you don’t!” Victor said and did the same for his while shooting forward. The Phoenix Cry ability was sent forward towards some rocks and was powerful enough to crack them and cause some of them to fall. These were able to stop the lupine’s fake cars as the devices that produced them ran into the fallen stone and crashed. On top of that, the rocks slowed Pike down as he had to drive around them to avoid getting hit.
Meanwhile Nicholas, having chosen the other path didn’t see this but the part of the track he was one ran next to the stone arch section. He then looked in the rear viewing screen on his car and saw Meika was behind him. “Hey there!” he called back to her. “Care to join the party?”
“You know it!” she replied. They came out from the area and saw Axel and Victor were ahead. Then Jacob came out of nowhere as well.
“Looks like we’re three and that’s a crowd!” the Rook said with a laugh.
“Let’s take it to them!” Nicholas commented.
But it was here that things would take a turn for the worse. “Nicholas, you’re going too fast!” his mechanic John stated through the communicator of the Lighting Blizzard.
“What do you-“ the husky began but then felt it. His car’s tires had hit a very uneven and bumpy surface. And here the guy lost control.
“Wha…?” Jacob asked, surprised.
“Nicholas!” Meika whispered in fear, seeing this.
Then to her horror his car went running down a dangerous path that was not part of the track. Images of what had happened to Sonny flashed in the vixen’s mind. “NICHOLAS!” she cried.
The husky was feeling the bumps and jolts, especially when his car ended up hitting some of the stone walls and really busting his vehicle up. This also jarred his body and caused injury. Not with broken bones but bruising. The guy then came to a crashing stop into a cliff wall. “AHHH!” Nicholas exclaimed, feeling this even if it was a sideways crash.
“Ughhh… damn it… my body…” he groaned. The guy then heard the sound of cracking and looked up to see a large boulder had come loose and was beginning to fall. The husky barely made it out of his car just in time before it came crashing down right where he would have been. His car was damaged even more, but would still be able to be fixed. However, shards of the stone hit the husky in the face. The pain and shock was too much and Nicholas fell unconscious, blackness swooping in over him.
The viewers were in shock. Although the race was won by Axel with Victor taking second, and Jacob in third, there was no mood to celebrate. Medics collected the husky while the gorillas who were the maintenance crew got the Lighting Blizzard. The guy was on a stretcher being taken to the hospital section of the Ark. Meika was running with it along with Tag, Mia, and Jacob. “You’re going to be fine Nicholas,” the vixen whispered, almost crying tears. This was even worse than what happened to Sonny. “You hear me? You’re going to be fine!”
Then at a certain point she and the others weren’t allowed to go with Nicholas as only the medical personal were allowed beyond that point. The vixen collapsed on the bench nearby, tears falling from her eyes. “This… how could this have happened to him?!” she cried.
Mia wrapped her arms around Meika who let it out and cried. “It wasn’t dirty play this time…” Tag whispered. John, and those who also knew Nicholas came here as well. The mechanic of Nicholas was on the phone with his family, letting them know the situation. He then had to explain it to his brother Danny as the sibling, and the ones from the pawn shop and orphanage had all seen this horrible accident.
Eventually visitors were allowed in. They learned that Nicholas was going to be fine but needed time to recover from the trauma and injuries. Meika was one of the last in and saw the male she loved with the breathing mask on and looking so peaceful despite being injured. It broke her heart to see Nicholas like this. The tears started to fall again from her eyes as she went to his side, grabbing his left paw. “Please…” the female whispered to him. “Please Nicholas… You must wake up… I haven’t even told you how I feel… I love you…”
She leaned in and kissed his cheek. What the vixen didn’t see was Miles had seen and heard all of that because the door had been slightly open. He then continued down the hallway. Meika refused to leave Nicholas’s side even more than when Sonny had his terrible accident. She hardly slept a wink, didn’t even eat or move unless for the bathroom. The female just stayed in her chair by his side, holding the husky’s left paw, stroking his face, and whispering that he would make it through this. The female swore in her mind that after this somehow she would tell Nicholas how she felt about him. The others on the side of good whom she hadn’t told her feelings about Nicholas yet now saw the female really was in love with the canine. To give her space, they made sure to only come in one or two at a time. But for Ashley, who was still not known to be with Pike, also came in. But the feline faked her concern to Meika. Even if the vixen hadn’t been distraught, the acting was so good that nobody suspected her. “Meika… I’m sure he’ll wake up,” the feline said to the vixen before leaving after talking.
“Yeah… I hope…” Meika whispered. The conversation hadn’t made her say her feelings for Nicholas yet but Ashley saw all she needed to know the truth.
Later on she told Pike about this. “So that bitch loves Nicholas huh?” the lupine asked with an evil grin.
“It’s perfect,” his evil girlfriend stated. “We can use that to our advantage or you at least. And I’m certain from seeing the two interact, Nicholas feels the same way for her.”
“Well then, let’s hope he doesn’t wake up in time for the next race.”
Meanwhile security was making sure the reporters weren’t getting in. King and Mr. Mane made appearances to discuss what had happened. “We saw the footage and it was a bad call on Nicholas’s end during the race,” the lion stated. “I’m sure the next time he’ll be more careful on the track.”
“This most certainly won’t happen again,” the hippopotamus commented. “I think this is a message to all our racers to make sure to study the track carefully. Even me and Mr. Mane can’t do everything to keep our racers safe. It’s up to them as well.”
John in the meantime along with Miles, Meelo, and Jessica were putting the Lighting Blizzard back together. They soon had her running like a dream. “Now… if only her driver would wake up,” the German Shepard stated sadly. The prayers and thoughts from his family, friends, the guys from both shops, and the orphanage were to the husky.
But then fate smiled down on Nicholas several days later. Meika was once again by his side. However, Mia then came in. “Hey, you want to get something to eat?” the panda asked.
The vixen looked up, still holding Nicholas’s paw. “No thanks,” she whispered. “But I need to get up for a moment.”
The female did and then felt something squeeze her paw back. At first Meika thought it was her imagination until she heard Nicholas. “Wait…” he mumbled. She and the panda started and the vixen whirled around to see the husky was awake. The guy slowly rose up and removed the oxygen mask over his nose and mouth with his right paw. “Don’t go… not yet.”
Meika just gasped with happiness and brought the male in for a loving warm hug, crying tears again. “Thank god…” she sobbed.
“I’m okay, Meika…” the male whispered, hugging her back. Mia left with a smile to get the doctor. The husky was given the clear bill to leave after a few checkups. He was a little stiff and sore but knew it wouldn’t take much to get back to normal again. But the most important thing was that he and Meika were even closer than before. They just spent the time talking and laughing. But neither of them were able to say how they felt about the other just yet. Especially since the husky began to go through the process of getting ready for the next race. But what nobody suspected was what was going to happen during it or what would be discovered.
X
Despite how the top part of the pic turned out the sadness and heartache Meika feels for me is very real. And the relief that I wake up is very real to. So keep that in mind everyone as we move forward.

Despite how the top part of the pic turned out the sadness and heartache Meika feels for me is very real. And the relief that I wake up is very real to. So keep that in mind everyone as we move forward.
