Boy, does this gruff geezer make me feel quite nostalgic. I remember McGruff's commercials when I was a boy! (gosh I feel ancient) You certainly ensured he looks the part keeping his likeness, wrinkles and all. I'm certainly not complaining about the view of his paws either that you nicely designed. (Even gave him pale soles along with his chocolate, cute looking tenderfoots~) Fresh from his shoes, I'm sure these ruffians and delinquents shall try to humiliate the old timer so he'll leave them alone as well as leak out any information he may have given to the proper authorities on any small time crime businesses affiliated on their part. McGruff certainly isn't looking too happy about it. The facial expression you gave him certainly makes me think he's snarling at them right about now. And the atmosphere is quite ominouos, with several of these goons surrounding him, preparing to do their worst~The outfits of said nogooders is accurate too. With their hoodies, short sleeve tank tops and the luck, they certainly have a more..urban city gang boy look to them. (even included the power lines for the switch that goes to the lightbulb hanging in the garage. Nice touch.

Can only tell what is going to happen to McGruff next~ Though, I have a PRETTY good guess what it is.

Well, about 2 weeks after the fact after I had to send my computer to a technician and just NOW got it back as well as just got back onto this site, I can happily say this picture is even better! Clair did a wonderful job in including those three bullies from When the Going Gets Scruff. I imagine this as an alternate ending, where the Mike and the others never got over how fun bullying was for them. (yes, I systematically searched on the web for the exact video and watched it now) Some people NEVER learn, and it seems the three original bullies never moved on from being jerks themselves and so upgraded to thugs as they grew older. Can imagined they dropped outta school. Started doing illegal activities. Attention to detail like this always makes me extra happy, as it tells that (in this case Clair) really does her homework on these subject matters. I'm sure these now thugs, having learned who helped Scruff to have self confidence and not be bothered by them anymore, deterred their aggravation to the uncle himself. And deviously humiliating him in a way that they won't immediately get arrested by the geezer. Thank you Footpaws, for pointing out that tidbit out to me, now this sequence of artwork recently posted (and the animation I missed due to the situation prior) have enhanced my opinion on these even moreso. I'll be having some giggly daydreaming about this setup indeed. Ah, but I should be saying such things to Clair huh? ^^; Regardless, thank you very much again! I say my croc snout sniffled out this case and blew it wide open eh?
