Synth the large Eastern Coral Snake
A large Eastern Coral snake that I have traded for.
Synth is a very calm snake. He doesn't get too overly excited, but he is close friends with James, the anthro Central American Coral snake.
Synth lives in the dense jungle of the redwood/sequoia forest of California. Despite his species name, he is not limited to the Eastern parts of the country. He hatched in the Midwest, but decided to move to the west coast because of rumors of the giant trees of California.
Upon arriving after a month-long journey, he came upon a young, yet very tall anthro Central American Coral snake named James. Synth had heard from other snakes that the anthros were inferior and acted like they were kings compared to them. While Synth had never seen one before that time, he wanted to assume that was true because he heard it so much, but he was curious if the rumors were true.
He approached the anthro snake calmly and saw he was crying and sad. Naturally, he felt like being gentle and seeing how they reacted. Much to his surprise, James was very hot-headed, more so than Synth he thought. He didn't want to attack because the anthro looked so much like him in terms of color patterns. He promised the other snake that he wouldn't hurt him, and Synth went to leave and continue on to the forest, when the anthro stopped him, but they didn't seem angry anymore.
He asked if he could come with Synth since he had nobody else. Synth felt bad for him, but he decided to let them come. He now knew that not all the anthros were bad. As the two progressed on their journey, James and Synth grew closer as friends, and one day, Synth had to protect James from a bear, and Synth swallowed him without warning.
James was scared at first, but he chose to trust that Synth had a real reason to do this besides hunger or anything like that. And he was right as he entered Synth's empty stomach. After this event, Synth didn't do it again, but James asked him to swallow him when he felt tired. If the boy wanted him to do it, Synth saw no reason not to.
Now it is a regular thing between them, and occasionally, James will eat Synth and keep him in his belly for a while.
