Extra part to a commission i got. My own inspiration
A while back after being trolled for a long time I got a fun idea. Reclaim the slur 'snowflake'. Cause you know, ive always loved petite and sissy things :p. Plus back in 2005 i dressed a small Wile E plush in an ice skating leotard. So seems fitting he would be a good choice to don a snowflake costume, being a softie boy, and since hes in a safe space... Express his inner accident interests :p . So when he notices he needs to, he sets down his flag and gets ready to mess his outfit. >.<.
I also reeally loved making the crowd:. With Carebear cousin Swift Heart Rabbit as a nonbinary! And also Judy Hopps and a cute otter lady as a lesbian couple ^^
Im not afraid to share myself with the world, and i think people would learn about what makes us similar and feel less lonely if we did. as for the snowflake insult, something i always observed, a snowflake melts but it isnt destroyed. It becomes water and is renewed. Moreso every unique snowflake becomes a huge snowfall that together transforms the world. :P
Anyways friends, watchers, hope u like this silly kinky piece and hope it helps remind you guys to never be afraid to be honest about yourselves. You all have friends out there :3

i love the inclusion of nonbinary representation! it makes me sad to see our lgbt brothers and sisters forget about us, but im very happy that you remember us well and hope for the best for us :D
i also love the reclaiming of the word 'snowflake'! i think it's a pretty word, and while im not usually one to reclaim mean words, im glad its getting a more positive and healthy use thanks to you

Yeah i usually dont like the idea of reclaiming slurs much, dont like the term 'faggot' much for example. But after finding a snowflake leotard costume for my Timon plushie ive thought this was an idea i wanted to do :p
Id hate to think that the lgbt movement has pushed out nonbinary. To me that seems absurd to do that! I admit i have seen one or two people crap on the NB community recently, and i think thats bullshit of them. Even if you go back 100 years to the early queer community there was the classic stereotype of the sideshow half man half woman... And they were seen as another entity in the little family of queer lifestyle alongside the 'female impersonator', the homosexual, the lesbians, bearded women, etc. And they all shared the same fringe and scorn at the edge of society. I know lately social media has also been conflating that there is some big schism going on between the standard lgbt community and non binarys, but I want to say that dont think were all against you. A lot of us are on your side. And me for one I live as a gender fluid male, and ive learned nonbinary can be so many things. And I have a love for the cutesy softie stuff that combines conflicting gender themes, so I could even date a nonbinary person. The thing i advise all those i care about: you have to be tough to stamd for who you are. I got bullied physically in school, rejected by my family, and trolled to hell over the web, and hit with lots of hate and insults from the local community and political pundits, and ive learned you have to be tough to protect that thing that makes u who you are. Everyone else has conformed in order to feel like they are part of the mainstream and free from public scorn. I also wanna say that youre not alone as you try and be tough. There are allies like me out there who will respect you and be your friend. :)
Whew... Anyways the last thing id add is check out the (oldschool) Care Bears and Swiftheart Rabbit. As i was working on this I saw there was a number of people who also came to see them as nonbinary. Due to the fact that the character changed genders multiple times in the shows early history. I think this classic very PC cuddly pastel show makes for a nice fandom for us very progressive furries :p

It's interesting since the slur 'snowflake' itself comes from the negging of a compliment which came from the old self-help slogan 'People are like snowflakes: No two are alike.' I can certainly see why the saying attracted the opprobrium that it did. I myself prefer the sarcastic description.
I like the sarcastic definitions of the original saying. Such as 'People are like snowflakes, all unique but not in ways you'd notice unless you look very closely.' or 'People are like snowflakes, it's hard to drive when there's a lot of them piled up on the road.'
I am not a big fan of self-help books.
The slur is pretty stupid.

They only 'help' people who imagine a homogenous culturally pure society and a dark world beyond our borders or even beyond our front doors where criminals are everywhere trying to take all the mass accumulation of products that we each surround ourselves with at home. I will not take a stance that puts protectionism first before compassion. Its against my moral values, and if you really want to the truth its time that you spoke to people of a different culture who live here rather than listen to suspiciously easy to access media giants that shout to the sky that beyond our borders is a lawless hellscape full of stealthy anti-american muderers and rapists whose only motivation is in our downfall. Fear, suspicion, posessiveness, and self protection are not moral values.
What he did wrong was promise to be fighting for you and your less than ideal life situation in this broken country, saying he knows who it was that continue top ruin everything and that hes your champion, while he rode into office and lived off endless rallies and constant worship of him doing his whole salesman stcich. And then leaving office with only having triggered the new york libs but still nothing has changed and your life has not gotten better and there still are tons of people who are still shouling about social justice and equal rights and progressive values.. now hes still goign around doing rallies like always and absorbing all that celebrity.
Life has nto changed for you you still feel marginalized and totally unnoticed. Did he really get any results? what was he supposed to do anyways to make america great? Everyone jsut love him and ebrace his rhetoric? that all americans would naturally love that? that somehow it would improve your material existence and sense of value to your life?
You might be as much of a victim of the elite class just like other minorities. Especially if you have no money and are workign a stressful job and just spinning your wheels in life. Youre right to believe that things are fucked up and that America is broken and that it could be made great. But if we had some great powerful past that where america was stong and everything was great, how come that failed enought to produce this current era.
This isnt just an america problem in fact. its one that happens in a vast majority of nations around the world. millions of people whose lives are led over by some elite group wether a government superpower, a single supreme 'heroic' leader, a handful of ultra rich captains of industry who are designing ideas on how they think society can be molded to their imagination... or maybe all of these in soem combination.
theres something in the human psyche as it is now. we have gone past the humans of 8,000 or so years ago who saw a much more volent existence, we have better than that, but still we have a world where people though various means concentrate control of others to just a few and there is a constant suspicion that anyone could come and take away what little you have to you have to be ready to defend at all costs.
Its about time we start the process of doing away with that part of man that wants to rule over his fellows and delghts more in harm than in care. maybe then we can do away with ineffectual corrupt leaders, liars, theives, and superpowers.
