.45 caliber GLOCK with 2 clips holding 6 bullets each
.40 caliber Smith&Wesson pistol with 2 clips 8 bullets each
1938 Italian Mauser holds 7 bullets was used in WWII

i know..its weird..but for a rifle as old as it is..its still very accurate and heavy too....idk...it doesnt have a protruding clip but it does hold 7 bullets..how idk..but it does...and i dont buy ammo for it anymore because the bullets are soooo fuckin expensive i cant really afford em..
Now, there was a 1938 Carcano, that might be what you're thinking of, but that was a 6.5mm, and certainly not the rifle you have, there. They fed from a 6-round clip, though. With the variety of 7.62mm cartridges, it could be a variety of things, though many bring-back Mausers were rebarreled for the .30-06, given it's similarities to the 8mm Mauser, sometimes called the 7.92mm, which may have been mistaken for 7.62?
