“You’re home!!!”

Faster than a bear her size should be able to move, Sophie scoops up Flare into her arms as soon as he opened the door to their house, barraging the fox with kisses.

Flare chuckles, even if he wanted to resist, there was no escaping her gentle but powerful grip.

The two had been together for more than a year now, with Flare more experianced in Sophie's hibernation habits, and the bear admitting to her feelings for the fox, the two have never been happier. Keeping a healthy relationship that grew stronger by the day. As winter does, Sophie had begun to gain some extra weight, most of it going to her hips. Flare didn’t mind at all, but it was still something of a touchy subject for Sophie.

“I missed you too sweetie, just lemme change first, I got beer on my shirt from work.”
Reluctantly Sophie puts her love down, huffing and spotting a pout.
“Did someone spill it on you on purpose? If they did I’m going down there and teaching him a lesson!”

The bear growls, sharp claws protruding out of her paw to emphasize her point. At this point Flare was a master at diffusing an angry Sophie, pulling out a strawberry cupcake he got on the way back as he took off his clothes, successfully diffusing her building rage as she happily devoured the treat.

“No no nothing like that, it was just a spill on my end that’s all. But I appreciate you looking out for me hun.”

Flare was just able to undress to his boxers before Sophie grabbed him again, cradling him with all the love and affection she could give.

“Sorry sweetie, I just missed you so much, and I don’t want to be away from you any longer!”

Flare smiles, taking an arm and petting Sophie, the bear eagerly nuzzling him.

“You got a new outfit Sophie, it looks great! Where did you get it?”

Sophie blushes a bit before responding. “Well I didn’t get time to get you a present this year, but I hope this makes up for it.”

She nods to her outfit, a festive plaid shirt with a striped bra and panties with ribbons on the sides.

“I was thinking I can be your present this year. I know it’s a bit cheesy but I-"

She didn’t get a chance to finish, as Flare moved in for a kiss. Sophie was a bit surprised at first, but she eagerly accepted the kiss, her heart fluttering the whole time.

“I love it Sophie…I love you.”

The bear squealed in joy, hugging Flare tightly, perhaps a bit too tightly as Flare had to tap her a few times to make her go a bit easier.

“Heh, sorry sweetheart.”

“It's all good Sophie.”

The bear looks down shyly.

“Hey Flare, I just wanted to ask you something. We've been together for a while now…do you still see me as your teddy bear?”

“Of course you’re my teddy bear Sophie, and you’ll always be. Now, how about I unwrap my present?”

Sophie blushes, but nods eagerly, taking the two of them to the bedroom for some fun.
