the shapeshifting is more about mass distribution, so basically just changing his proportions. when he travels through shadows he just kind of merges with them, same with possession but the person being possessed would take on his body shape

It all started a longtime ago before the universe itself was created He created his
own dark world and over there in his dark world he is a king of his world called: "Land of Shadows" but ever since God showed up God destroyed his world and
God created everything around him creating everything on the earth. In the process of God
creating the universe he sees fit to him the Demon passes out as the big bang consumed him. Years later in 2013 The original ruler of the Demon's
world woke up in a coma discovering the world what God created around him at first
the Demon was amnesiac until his memories came back to him like thunder and lightning
and so the Demon want's revenge for ruining the Demon's paradise and taking away his people and god like powers he had and so he has
hatred towards God and Everything God created and so he formed worshipers of his own and has noticed that modern age people like what they call "Thicc people" and tries it on himself just so he could gather more worshipers and it worked and so here in 2020 if you see a certain Thicc
Demon do not trust him nor do not worship him. THE END

His powers could be:

3. Gravity manipulation.
