In my not-so-humble opinion, there are few cars that can match the appearance of the mid-1969s Chevy Camaro. This excellent example is from 1967.

A former girlfriend drove a '67 Camaro RS/SS. It was getting rough, so she sold it to a collector who did a complete as-built restoration. I love these!

My ex's cousin & her husband had '69 and '67 Camaros once upon a time. Both were white with black interiors. Sadly, the '69 got t-boned and totaled. Your story was better. I love a good restoration tale.

I think the first gen Camaro has the nicest body lines. The first year styling was simple and elegant. The same can be said of the first year Mustang.

Yup. As a Ford-guy, i can only respect, that GM were the founders of the sweepin' "vacuum-cleaner" frontend style. '74 Mustang, Falcon XB, and fair amount of Dodges are all in the shade of this Killermobile™
