Have you ever seen any dirt on my dragon buddy here? No, because the developers didn't bother adding any. Everything about the game we live in is bright and colourful and 100% clean, all the time. Sure, Spyro runs and he jumps around a lot, and even climbs (kind of) but at the end of the level he's always completely spotless. Why does a spotless dragon always want his soles licked clean, you might ask? He certainly doesn't need it, and I doubt he can even feel it most of the time. Maybe he just likes reminding me which one of us is the real dragon in this relationship. I may have twice as many wings and 50% more legs than him, but he's got the fire, and he's got the paws. And I guess I gotta hand it to him - when they're not squishing my bug juices out, it's hard not to appreciate these guys...

I found the easter egg that gives Spyro cool sunglasses, but I haven't yet found the one that makes Sparx engage in passionate worship of his dragon buddy's hindpaws...
