HI i love lions, wolves but especially lion king, you have lovely art, i draw lionking lions quite often but i have no clue about how to colour my pics in and it is really dragging my art down, could you possibly watch me and give me pointers and help me, i have Photoshop CS2 and i dont know if i could use that to colour them in?

i use Photoshop 7.0 i dunno if CS 2 works the same way since I will get it in a few weeks and never worked with it o.O
But my way of colouring is easy really...just mark your area with the wand-tool and use the lasso tool to get rid of parts you don't want ;)

Oh thanks but how do you actually colour in fur, manes ect because i see other people's drawings and they can shade in really well, do you just use Gradient overlay to do that, sorry about all of the questions *shrugs and smiles*

no ...draw a shade...use a light rubber and erase a litte and use another color to shade over it

Do you have to make a new layer first and do you mean PAINT a new layer, also what paintbrushes would you use?

i use the bucket-tool...create a new layer for the shades...use the lasso tool to mark your shades, then teh bucket to create shades and on the same layer, you erase lightly...

you cana lways send me tips but i don't have the time to tell ya every tinsy mistake...i can say if it's ok, or tell ya what ya can change, but actually it's about if you think it's ok... you must like it.
