Hahaha, I was waiting for one of these to show up. I'm trying to figure out how to change themes (and it actually work!) and nowhere in the post does it actually say how.

Settings - Account settings - Account personalization - site layout theme
The old 'beta' is renamed Modern and under modern, you can choose the 5 new themes
Spoiler - they're so similar it's stupid

Settings > Account Settings > Site Layout / Theme

nothing changed for me. I was never using the beta either i like the original OG lol this stuff is like super big and weird. i cant even click on the settings and see everything without making page lower than 100% size

Then in the account settings change Modern to classic - that's still the old FA :)

Some scaling could fix most of it though .-.

Problem: I dislike both designs. Old is archaic, new is a cluttered "Mobile" mess.
In the end comparing the 2 leads me to think that new design is just a little bit better.
At least after:
-One sets browser to 90% zoom to get old sizes.
-Re-enables adblock cause of artist ads making the right panel too chaotic (sorry advertising artists!)
-Tells same adblock to block the banner cause it is stupidly big and distracting (also not really nice to look at).

Now it is marginally better than the old. ^^;
For me at least.
(Also holy F are the palletes boring. Would it hurt to add a few options with different colours? Rather than grey with a tiny bit of colour? Just an overall comment)

Was still hoping for MORE options though. Instead of this focus on just one or two templates with specific design traits and different pallets that equate to a tiny tint of colour added to your default boring grey. Even the new "fancy" borealis colour scheme is just a tiny barely noticeable streak of green-grey in the background.

Seriously FA. Add some more colour schemes. If someone wants the site in bright pastel colours or something let them!

I was mostly ok with it until I accidentally deleted all the art in my inbox bc there's no "select all 48" button anymore.

At the bottom, there's the select buttons. The select all will only selects the 48 visible.

Yeah I switched back to classic as soon as I found out. I wish they'd stop changing the layout. From what I understand the problems are under the hood, so why keep changing the coat of paint?
