So before we begin someone has let me know of something horrible is coming up. Somebody has let me know that there is a person who not only hates what I'm doing they want an abomination of an image set of Meika done again and have that asshole Pike in it. When will they learn that Pike and her aren't supposed to be together? Meika is mine. The only thing I can do is when the time comes is to counter it with the correct version. Hopefully though I'll get to the point when it becomes me and Meika's first time. Her true first time and with nobody else.

Into the Storm
The day for the next race had arrived. The Ark was descending down through dark storm clouds. Lighting was raining down around and onto the dry plans as the vehicle made its way to some kind of blue colored barrier. The bolts of lightning sometimes hit the Ark, causing the power to fluctuate. The whole reason was that Jump Jump Power Drink had held a contest where one winner would decide were one of the races would be held. The decision had been poor and that was putting it mildly. And it was to take place at the Lighting Plains. The weather conditions here were unique and according to Becks, this race was going to be a one-of-a-kind dash to the finish line. And Ms. Dira and Alfred who were down at the safety grid on the ground weren’t liking this anymore as the two explained how this race was going to work. From the starting positions, the racers would have to make their way to the other side of the plains. But the problem was any displacement of the sand would cause a positive charge to build up. This would attract a negative charge from the skies above. In other words, the faster the racer went, the more likely they would get hit by lighting. But staying in place wasn’t an option either. Fortunately, several de-charging stations had been erected. Driving through them would dissipate the built up charges on their vehicles keeping them safe from lighting. “Let’s all hope that our racers are fast enough to stay one step ahead of a lightning bolt,” Ms. Dira stated.
“Though it might be easier said than done,” Alfred finished.
On the Ark, the racers were all assembled at the area where their cars were. The ETA for drop-off was in five minutes. A bolt of lightning flashed across the sky, lighting up the racer’s faces. “Who’s crazy idea was this again?” Tag asked.
“This is what happens when you drink too much of that stuff,” Meelo told him.
Nicholas was tapping his foot nervously. Miss Ballard and Cody who were next to him noticed this. “I agree with Tag,” the husky growled. “Who’s fucking bright idea was this?!”
“Er… a stupid fan?” the otter asked.
“You need to focus,” the female canine told the one with glasses.
“Oh, I’m sorry!” Nicholas snapped back. “I’m a little on edge that I have to drive through a shit storm like that!” He pointed out the window as another bolt of lightning was seen.
Meika was also on edge but for a different reason. Even though she knew her parents were safe, this storm reminded her of the battling storm inside her head of telling Nicholas about Pike and other worries. Sonny noticed this and nudged her. “Relax!” he said to the female.
“Huh?” was her reply.
“You’ll be fine, it’s just another race! Before you know it, it’ll be over in a flash.” A huge bolt of lightning followed Sonny’s words. Everyone else glared at him. “Oh… kay. Bad choice of words.”
Krom let out a laugh. “Scared of a little weather area we?” he stated. “I got a good feeling about this race. Mark my words: I’m gonna reciprocate each and every one of you lot on this one!”
Axel did a face palm with his wing. “You’re gonna what, what?” Meelo asked.
“No?” the crocodile asked the Ace next to him.
“Not even close,” Axel replied in a gruff tone.
The racers then heard the announcement that it was time to get to their cars. “Some weather, huh Daniel?” Rachel asked her guy as they went to their vehicles. Despite having lived in the country and seen some storms, this made those look like nothing.
“Better saddle up babe,” the stallion commented. “We’re in for one rough ride.”
“Alright, here we go,” Tag stated. Meika put on her racing glasses, still troubled.
“Hey, it’ll be fine,” Nicholas told her as they walked to their cars. He saw that she seemed troubled. “Let’s just try to get through this, oaky?”
“Yeah,” the vixen replied, feeling better just by talking to him.
The cars were soon in position. Tag and Miles had a last minute talk before the race began. Each car had a charge meter appear on the dashboard that would show the driver how much of a positive charge they were carrying. The lights then turned green and the protective barrier the cars were under disappeared. Everyone took off. It was already a terrifying start and nobody could blame the ones driving. Everyone was giving each other a wide birth and for good reason. It was all to avoid adding charges to their own car. Tamira and Tag found that out the hard way when her car almost touched his and a bolt of lightning came right between the two. The pantheress then got hit by another one and activated her car’s power. This worked for a bit until she got struck and was knocked out of the race first. Blitz and Becks commented on that. Axel saw this. “Not to me,” he stated and activated his car’s power.
That turned out to be a mistake because the guy ended up getting hit by lighting next. “Looks like Axel didn’t get the memo!” Becks stated.
“The faster you go, the more of a target you are!” Blitz said.
The charging stations came up and everyone but Vyxx made it through one. Sonny destroyed the gate she had been trying to go through thanks to his car’s power. “Hey!” she stated in frustration. “Not fair!”
She drove right up next to him. “You’re gonna pay for that!”
“I think you’ve got bigger things to worry about!” he replied.
The female was struck by lighting and knocked out. Mia saw that in her rear view mirror and let out a laugh. “Ooooh, that’s rough,” Sonny stated.
Meanwhile Meelo who was at a different level saw Xeno was bearing down on him. The horned toad pulled ahead and the chameleon got his car’s power ready. But this was a mistake as the charging attack got the lighting to go for Meelo, putting him out of the race. “So… that’s what it feels like…” he groaned.
Then Xeno was taking out despite using his car’s power. It was no better for the other from Aispir City as one by one they were also taken out until only Nicholas was left. Even Pike was getting annoyed and used his car’s power to help him out. But in the end even he got struck as well. “Three strikes, you’re out!” Becks said. The wolf shook off the hit, seeing Tag and then Nicholas go on ahead.
Tag got the most charge and was hit. The lighting caused his car’s ability to kick in and then the vehicle jumped into the gate the feline had been aiming for. Nicholas saw the whole thing and winced when the tiger crashed. “Ohhhh that’s gotta hurt,” he stated, seeing his friend down.
Now only he, Meika, and Krom were left and the vixen and crocodile were ahead of him and were neck and neck. It was all down to this. The finish line wasn’t too far off. The only question was, were they going to make it there? Nicholas could have used his car’s power but it was too risky at this point because that would only attract the lighting to him. “Outta the way!” Krom told Meika, and his car shoved against hers. “This one’s mine!”
“Hey!” she stated and slammed her car against his. The crocodile saw that charge for his car was at critical. The lighting came down but instead of taking him out, Krom’s car was able to resist the blast and Meika got taken out as well.
“MEIKA!” Nicholas exclaimed. He was distracted and didn’t notice that his foot had gone down on the gas. The result was getting too much of a charge and being taken out.
Becks and Blitz were announcing the amazing win by the crocodile. “It’s unpredictable races like this that make this sport the greatest race on the planet! But having said that, let’s never. Come here. Again.” Beaks nodded in response.
“Agreed,” Blitz stated.
Back in the Ark which was protected by the same shield, all the racers and their cars were safely on board Tag and the rest who had been hosted by Nicholas along with the husky and every one of his friends except for Tamira met up next to the tiger’s car. “Tell you what,” the feline said. “Next time a fan gets to decide the track? I’m sitting that one out.”
“Heck, I’ll keep you company,” Sonny stated, wrapping an arm around the guy in a bro hug. The conversation was interrupted by Krom who boasted about his win before being shocked by some lighting still clingy to his car.
“Somebody should get Krom a medic,” Meika suggested.
“And a dictionary apparently,” Jessica said. This was due to the guy using words the wrong way again during his boasting.
“Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I could really use a drink right now,” Sonny stated.
“I’m in!” Tag said.
“Count me in to,” Miles commented. The rest but Ashley agreed.
“Meelo?” Jessica asked.
“Only if Sonny will tell us that story about him and that dress,” he replied.
Mia and those who hadn’t heard that looked up to the male bear in surprise. “You know what?” he said. “Fine. At this point I don’t even care anymore.” Meika giggled softly as she knew she could help tell it.
“I’ll catch up with you there,” Ashley said.
The rest gave her a questioning look as even Meika and the other females were joining the guys. “What?” the feline asked. “A girl’s gotta freshen up first.”
“Alright then,” Sonny announced. “To the lounge!”
Meika sent a friendly wink to Ashley as if to say, “You’re loss.” Before Meelo fully did go with them, the feline stopped the chameleon.
“No matter what he says, I heard from Meika that about the dress thing? Totally his idea, not hers.” It was during that that Ashley planted a different small chip onto the back of his racing outfit collar.
Meelo let out a laugh. He waved goodbye. The feline brought out her phone and saw the thing was working, tracking his movements. Ashley nodded and turned around to head to his quarters. The evil feline made it and after checking to see if nobody was around, went inside. How this was done was by using her phone. That chip she had placed on the back of the lizard’s tablet acted as a key to hack it and get the door open. It also deactivated the cameras inside and even the screens that were monitors for them to. Ashely then entered and went to the door to the room where the black box was and used her finger on the pin pad. Due to wearing gloves, no fingerprints were left behind. The feline entered and saw the main computer and the black box plugged in. She could have taken it but Ashley had her orders. The female went under the desk and placed what Pike had given to her under it. Pressing the top like a button, the device was turned on. Ashley stood up and began to head out just as the device began to spread what were nanobots of Xeno’s into Meelo’s system. Ashley made it out and looked up, coming to a stop in shock. Standing in front of her were Meika, her friends that had been hosted by Nicholas, the husky himself, and all of his friends who were on the side of good with the lights on. The room was big enough to have them all in here. Some were in shock, others were glaring at her. “What…?” Ashley asked in disbelief. “How…?”
Meelo held up his left hand. There in between the index finger and thumb was the chip the feline had placed on him. “Like I said earlier…” the chameleon stated. “Being ‘paranoid’ usually pays off.” He crushed the chip between his fingers.
“Ashley…. What’s going on here?” Tag asked.
“Ashley…?” Meika then asked, her eyes wide with shock that a friend would do this.

Ugh this was still a bit hard to type up the ending despite it not being Meika as it should be. I'll still never understand why the studio did that for my Meika. A heads up the next three chapters will be dialogue related rather than a race.
