Okay, time to start getting the word out. Lava Dome Five has been a macrophile site I've operated for decades now, and a big part of it was Faibanx MUCK. There are people who are old enough to vote now who weren't born when Faibanx was first created. It's been up for almost 20 years now, and I'd like to get the word out to those who had accounts over the many years to come back on and have an anniversary bash.

I'm going to start contacting possible contestants and panelists for the game, and I will be live streaming it on Twitch or Picarto or YouTube or something easy for folks to get to, so that people can see the studio chat and can hear the game show music and stuff. And if I can find something at a thrift store, maybe I'll even try and find a jacket like Gene Rayburn used to wear.

Please, let's all remember the fun we used to have in a shared virtual world before Social Media™ became a thing and we all just laze out and RP in chat programs. Mucks were like the Jedi from Star Wars, tools of a more civilized time, and Faibanx is still around and I still show up there just to be in that world.

I really don't expect any new folks to show up, much less stick around, but it'd be nice to try and top the all-time connection record of 38 folks back in 2008. I don't even remember what happened in 2008. :) I hope to at least get enough folks to be primaries and alternates for panelists and contestants -- there were always people who dropped out in previous Match Game game shows, and I expect this one to be no different.
