Finishing my old commish list, this one's for
karakina
I don't remember what amount was paid for this, but this should cover the requirements adequately.
Now, ON TO THE REST OF THE LIST.
The sooner I kill the old load, the sooner I can pick up new ones and afford new pens that aren't jamming on me and new paper that isn't like fine grit sandpaper.
...I'm getting too old for this.
EDIT 23.01.10: updated file.

The detail on the technical elements of her wings is fabulous... it's something that many anthro artists seem to avoid i think.
And the figure is excellent too, even down to the puffy scar tissue on her leg!
When the time comes i probably wouldn't be able to afford it, but nevertheless the thought of commissioning you is an enticing one! I've got a hyena robot that i'd love to see done in your style!

I want to note that one of the reasons why there is not a lot of anthro artists that are comfortable with tech stuff like this is similar to why many artist have a huge problem with hands. Gears and tech stuff exists, anthros don't. It's a whole lot easier to draw something that you are not confronted with a lot in your regular life, instead of like gears and stuff where most people have a clear mindset as to how it should look (symmetrical, straight, even, etc.) as where with anthro art there is a lot more room for own interpretations and the excuse "it's made up!"
also, straight lines are just sooo freakign hard to get right, there isn't a lot of people with natural talent to draw straight lines. and then getting the lines that bend to just bend right and not wiggly. I tell you I have been drawing a lot in the last 8 years and have had my share of doing clean lineworks with pens and quills, and I still don't get it right.. Not that I am the best example for the mass but I am sure many can relate.
I wish I would have easier times with tech stuff, I know pretty much all it takes is a lot of time and effort but not everyone has those in quantities.

Yeah, makes sense :3
Also, i see it kind of like two sets of things - you have your curvy, flowy organic forms; such as figures, animals, flora, etc... and then you have your mechanical/rigid things; architecture, machines, hard-angles, and lots of geometry.
It often seems to be that someone who excels at one might be less practiced in the other, and vice versa...
At least in my own experience.
When i started drawing, i drew spacecraft and technological things - nothing organic, hardly any curves... then i switched and decided to draw figures instead. They're different disciplines, in a way.
My old old anthro art is kind of hard and angular in a way - figures didn't flow. i had to figure out how to make them more liquid. :D

WOW. I have no idea where to start with this other than the fact that the whole composition is amazing. Your inking style is marvelous not to mention your attention to detail ( and your patience ) is mind blowing! I'm sure this is near the best anthro art I've seen yet! DAMN. I am floored. Absolutely floored. *continues to stare at the image*
Man you did like the most awesome job on her.... EVER! May I merry you? XD
No really that is more than i expected from you.. and i expected a LOT from knowing your art more than 6 years now. You are one of my personal geniuses when it comes to technical things and inking and you actually did a better job that i thought you would... thats like... more than "best" XD
The only thing I could criticise is that you forgot two little details: Her marking on the left cheek and the scar on the right breast which... should not take a lot time to draw in. Anyway I am a total fan of your art. No matter what you draw. Thank you for that commission.
I paid you... 80€. btw.
